some parts were inspired by the song "Ocean Man" by Ween
Ocean Man,
I hope you understand....
I'm sorry
for all the sins that I've committed
and all the ones that I'll commit everyday.
Hope this isn't the end of things...
are we cool?
I'm sorry
for all the things I've said bout you.
Don't know what went over me.
All I felt was too much to know,
and only now have I realized that.
Sometimes it's like the world's falling down,
as if the price of being me is losing you.
What if I had never said or believed all those things?
I'm sorry-
sorry for the misery that I must've cast upon your innocent self.
I'm sorry
for all the bullshit that I made you go through
just to let you know
how angry you made me felt.
Should've just kept going and going and going
instead of breaking and twisting and turning...
I'm sorry.
Thought you were trying to get past me,
but really all you were was busy.
How could I have been so stupid?
Shouldn't have been mad at the tiniest, smallest things.
Somehow people seem to blame you,
and a small part in me admittedly still does;
but now we've made up, and now I don't have to be a cold bitch.
Can you forgive me for all my feelings?
I'm sorry
for all the twisted things I said when you knew it ain't the truth.
I'm sorry
for trying to paint myself as the victim.
I'm sorry
for threatening to expose you like you did to me-
except that what I did was full-on blackmail!
Ocean Man,
do you understand?
Won't you lead me to the land...
that you'll understand
so that we will move on....
I'm sorry
for trying to get you outta yourself;
for trying to expose you so you could know
how much I cared
when someone doesn't care for what I do....
I'm sorry
for all the shit I wrote....
You don't need to call anymore.
You don't need to be there all the damn time.
You don't have to answer every time, just know
if it was important, you should listen.
I ain't the only one who's at fault.
Why would you forget then say you're sorry?
You should've remembered the first few times,
but either way,
I am sorry.
