She cries enough tears to drain her life out.
She's the best at fake laughs and smiles.
She sees everyone worrying about small stuff
when all she's worried about
is if she'll make it out at all.
He thinks that everything revolves around him.
He tries to do what's best for others, but not himself.
All he ever wants to go to are his best dreams.
He's afraid of overthinking, but he over-loves.
She might walk like rain over the summer,
but she feels like a dead leaf in the fall.
He wishes he could swim away,
but he's afraid he'll drown in the waterfall.
Everyone has fears-
fears that if they take the risk,
they'll end up hurting themselves
and people around them.
What if they break inside?
They don't want to guilt-trip themselves.
What if it's not their fault
to leave this world behind
and just die with broken hearts?
She runs into him on her way home.
She realizes it's love at first sight.
She has no clue whether he felt anything at all,
but unfortunately for him,
he fell in love too.
They try to make each other happy.
It's as if only one can help heal the other.
Both have their own insecurities and demons,
but they've built enough trust-
enough for love.
They both have fears-
fears of what would happen if they broke up.
They could end up breaking each other's hearts,
and they'd never be the same again.
They never want to blame each other,
but sometimes it's best to know who did it.
One wants to run, and one has to cry
in order for them to live with their broken hearts.
She got drunk at a Friday night party.
One thing led to another.
Next thing she knew,
she was on top of another man.
Her actions was slurred and uncontrolled.
It was only from one of his best friends
that he found out and broke down crying.
She said, "I'm sorry-
it's the worst mistake I've ever made."
He said that his worst mistake
was giving his heart for her to love.
If he could, he'd take his trust and heart back
instead of having it break in pieces now.
Maybe he shouldn't have taken the risk
of loving someone so dangerously
enough to die of a broken heart.
He barely functioned as a human for days.
What was the point if he'd always be this way?
Maybe he should just end it all
like he was about to before he ran into her.
She loved him, but not enough
to help both of their broken hearts.
Instead, now they're split apart,
and they both end up dead inside.
It's why I'm cautious of how and when
I fall in love.
I know it won't be such a fairy tale.
I'm not just a prince,
nor is she just a princess.
Don't want to catch myself
ending up dying of a broken heart.
