i'm bored 🅴

I'm bored, can I pick y'all up for a night out?

Get into my car-
we'll be driving all night.
Don't know what we'll run into.
We don't know shit.
We're so full of it.
Don't got any plans.

Headlights be lighting up the road-
too dark to see what's ahead.
Can't you see away from my yard
where we'll party all night;
and day-
let's finally have some fun for once!

Why can't I call you up
in the middle of the night
whenever I'm bored?
Why can't we wake up early
and drive through the dark
as we get wild in the moonlight?

How come even when we're scared,
we still end up bringing each other back up?
Can't we bring this energy tonight...
especially since I'm bored?

All of us can be foxes
chasing down for what's right.
Maybe we could get our own food
and live off of what we have deserved.

What if our lives were a whole lot of lies?
What if God made us to have fun together?
We're the ultimate team,
so why can't we depend on each other?

Even under the twilight sky,
I might get bored,
so why can't we just
have a party and release all the energy
we had been saving up for
our future successful selves?

Close your eyes-
can't you see it?
A beautiful dream where no one can stop us
from being who we are;
we're the foxes who stick together
all night...
all day...
everyday-
no matter what lays upon ahead of us.

We can't be bored
if we have total freedom, right?
No consequences for our actions-
big or small.
Imagine having parties day and night;
imagine fooling around like there's no tomorrow
even when we know there'll always be another day
without emptiness
because there'll always be something new to do and enjoy
together... not bored.

Rather that than coming home from school everyday
doing the same routine over and over again,
all empty and alone inside and out
as if I'm glass
too easy to break,
and when you do break into me,
you'll see nothing but a heart
so bored to death that it's been drained
from experiences that weren't fun-

waiting for shit to be fun again.

I want to get away from this hellhole
and drive down the road with hope.
We might not know what's ahead,
and our headlights might not help us this time,
but as long as we stick together
and keep each other's company,
there won't be a time
where I'll say
"I'm bored."

Let's drive away from boredom
towards something new, fun, amazing...

let's find a new home.
