Roman's POV:

I've decided to confront Deceit- *cough* *cough*- Logan.

I teleport myself to Logan's room to find him sitting at his desk. He looks up at me, puts his pen down, adjusts his glasses, and says, "Do you need my assistance, Roman?"

I grip my sword, but not pull it out. "I know that you're Deceit."

Logan gives me a confused look. "No I'm not. It's me, Logan."

"Why are you here, Deceit? Why do you want to separate me and Virgil?"

Then Logan stands and turns into Deceit.

But I must remember that everything he says is a lie, so is he says yes it means no.

"You're very slow to figure things out, Roman," Deceit slithers.

"Answer my question."

"Well, you and Virgil separated make Thomas very weak so I had to put you two together."

Well, you and Virgil together make Thomas very strong so I had to separate you two.

I narrow my eyes at him. "What are you planning?"

"To let the four of you rule."

To make him rule Thomas.

I pull out my sword and point it at his stomach. "Where is Logan?"

"He's dead."

He's alive.

"Tell me where he is."

"I won't write you down a riddle."

"Make it quick."

He grabs a pen and starts writing down on the paper. I know that he only talks in lies, so this riddle will hopefully be in truth. Hopefully.

He hands me the piece of paper, waves, smiles, and says, "Hello." And disappears.

I sink back down into my room and look down at the paper and read it aloud.

"Upon the darkness there is a seam
Which brings you to your darkest dreams
A place where everything is
But a place that no one sees
When you enter, you don't have time to regret
Because by then, it'll be something you forget
And yes, the ones you love best
Won't even be at all depressed
So welcome the darkness into your heart
As the ones you love forget how you fell apart
Now here is another riddle
One that you might get
It'll bring you to your clue
As your journey it not done yet
Here it is:
'I am greater than God
More evil than the Devil
I am what poor people have
And what rich people don't
What am I?'

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. Nothing is greater than God, nothing is more evil than the Devil, poor people don't have anything, and rich people have everything. So wouldn't the answer be nothing? Yeah, I think so. But what deep dark place of darkness, pain, and forget be? The only thing I can think of is the Forgotten Pit. My eyes widen. That's where Logan is! I must go get him!

Then I rush out of my room and towards the Forgotten Pit.
