We spent a few hours reaching a train station, which was good, but they had separate carriages for Puppets and normal people. Puppets had two carriages, near the back of the train. Talk about discrimination...

I wasn't one to join that bullshit however, so I simply bought three tickets for the last carriage. There wasn't any food provided for the Puppets' carriages, so I had to buy some sandwiches for the trip. It was going to take 3 hours to reach Lunaria, and a 20 minute cart ride to reach Iona's town.

Thankfully, the pouch of silver coins was more than enough to handle the costs. Talk about convenient.

The ticketing counter gave me a odd look. Almost no normal person would want to sit near Puppets here, so I was an oddity.

And as if having "special" carriages for Puppets wasn't enough, it was cramped. There was little space to put their luggage and way too many seats in too small a space.

The three of us only had a small bag of stuff however, which gave us enough space to sit. If there was anything to complain about however.... was that everyone in the carriage was looking at me. All attracted to the mana I guess.

After some time, the train started moving. The Puppets in the carriage however, didn't seem to have anything to say about their situation. They were generally just happily talking to each other, playing around. There were a few adults with us, but still mostly kids. A mother held her child close to her, a man was smoking at the back, reading something.

There was still plenty of time before we would reach Lunaria, so I decided to take a nap. Flipping my hood up to block the sunlight, I let myself get some rest. In the background, I could hear Alice and Iona chattering away.

I woke up occasionally to grab a bite and talk to the two, and there random moments when a Puppet or two coming near me out of curiousity. They always ran back when I tried to talk to them however... One of them tried to open the bag containing Kuro, but she gently woke me up to prevent it.

Oh, by gently, I meant she yelled for me with a thunderous voice, in my head. She once told me she'd subtly notify me of different occurrences. 'Subtly' my arse.

The seats practically ground my arse to dust, but at the very least, we managed to get to Lunaria in due time. Had to massage it a little after getting off...

Stepping out, I was greeted by the chilly autumn winds.

"By the gods it's getting cold..."

"Autumns in Lunaria does get cold easily... You should get some warmer clothes."

"Tell me about it..." I wrapped my scarf a little tighter. "Wait, where's Alice?"

"Hm? What's wrong?" Alice was still in the carriage, talking to a little kid.

"Nnn... I can't reach my bag..."

"Here, Alice will help!" she smiled, using her ribbons to grab the kid's stuff.

"Thank you big sis! Bye bye~"

"Bye bye~"

She hopped off, looking at me with eager eyes.

"Umm... what?"

"Alice did well, right?"

"Yeah yeah, good job," I chuckled, rubbing her head. "Come on, let's get you home," I pet Iona.

I didn't even get a chance to look around before I was yanked away by her.

Iona excitedly brought us to a route where she knew there was a carriage to ride on. But when we got there...
