All the way back in Reverie, I was in the royal chambers with Larry and Seth, while Mary and Sylphie were busy looking at various pieces of art hanging all around the room.

The place was a mess with a plethora of paperwork and contracts... Seth was busy writing a variety of new laws and reworking things like taxes and things of the sort. It wasn't something I understood very well, so I couldn't say much about it.

"Well kid, thanks for having me around at your place. It was nice. I'll take things from here, you should head to Sylphia."

"Alright, good luck with your king business."

"Hah, I should say the same to you! You have a lot more on your plate than we do," Seth laughed.

"I guess. See you around. Mary, Sylphie, we're going."

A quick teleportation later, we were back in the guild, where Amayasha was waiting for us.

"I take that you're ready, boy?"

"Yes."

"Very well. Just this once, I will make it easier for your travels," she said, opening a portal. "This is a portal to a quiet place I found on Sylphia, it should save you a few days, good luck, and take care of Sylphie."

"Understood."

"Mary, take care of the boy in case he does anything stupid."

"Y-Yes?"

"Anyway, you should be able to come and go as you please after going to all countries, I assume. Use that to help the boy in case he needs more help."

"I understand."

"Good. Off you go now."

Just like that, I got my first look of Sylphia in years. And by the gods it was freezing. According to Sylphie, we were currently in the northmost state, Wispor of Alfenheim.

This place was cold all year round. And it was dead winter. I arrived at Reverie last year in late autumn, now I was in Sylphie during winter. Not sure how I was gonna hold up to this...

Sure beats coming here by boat at least.

Either way, the first thing we had to do was look for a town.

"So this is Sylphia... it sure looks nice around here.... Even the air smells better- choo!" Mary sneezed.

"Might want to avoid deep, strong breaths while it's freezing out here," I smiled, tightening her cloak. "Keep this tight, you don't wanna catch a cold-"

"I don't get sick, Master."

"I forgot. Still better than freezing. Come on."

Mary held my hand, walking beside me as we followed Sylphie through the snow. It was windy and it was snowing.... talk about overkill.

A while of walking later, the cold was getting to me. Even with much thicker winter wear, it was still cold... Mary noticed it and promptly created a small ball of light.

"It's a little spell of mine called 'Eos', warm isn't it?" she smiled.

"T-Thanks.... bloody hell that feels better...."

"You two get along well... It's interesting. I heard from my spies back then that you killed her. Yet... you two seem so friendly with each other now."

"You knew?" I asked.

"Yes. As I said before, I can tell when time is altered, just like Mary."

"Well, I learned of his reasons back then. And I forgive him. Things are different now too."

"I see... that's good enough of a reason. Peace is an option, it seems," she giggled as she walked forwards.

About an hour of walking later, we finally reached a small village. A guy with a horsecart was packing up... maybe we could hitch a ride.
