"Master? You're awake. You had me worried there."
"Iona? How long was I out for?"
"You passed out almost immediately after we came back. And you've been asleep ever since. For... around half a day."
"Half a day?! It's already noon!?"
"Actually it's past noon. Alice went out to buy some food because she didn't want to wake you up."
"Is she going to be fine...?"
"Fiore went along with her, so I guess so."
"Really now..? How's Citra? Is she alright?"
"She's asleep for now, she needs to recover. I didn't think she would be able to survive going Berserk... All thanks to you and Fiore."
I technically died 4 times, but...
"Guess I'm just lucky," I got out of my bed. "We'll be returning to Anima after Citra wakes up, so let's get ready for then."
"Understood. Should I help with cleaning up?"
"Nah, we still have some time. Go take care of Citra for now, I need to do something," I chuckled, picking up Kuro.
"Don't forget to clean up first, Master."
"Right right."
"Master?"
"Yeah?"
"Fiore said he found something you want to see. He left it in his room."
Heading into the washroom, I quickly washed my face and wiped myself down.
You've grown quite well, Raibo. I find you quite amusing, you think like an adult, yet your body is so slender I can barely tell the difference from you and a girl. Your face is also oddly feminine.
Shut it.
How rude. I meant it as a compliment. I wonder if I could get you to wear something...
Don't get any weird ideas.
Your aren't any fun, are you? Well, let's get down to business. Drop by when you're free. I'm sure you have something to talk about, no?
Yeah.
You know, you could do better with talking. You bore me at times, and other times you amuse me. And honestly I can't decide on which is better.
She laughed, and I could've swore she pet me on the head, even though she was no where near me...
---
"Ah, how nice of you to come," she smiled, putting down a book."I did say I was coming."
"Raibo, come here. I want to look at you."
"Come again?"
"Just come here," she grabbed my arm, pulling me towards her. She gently held my face in her hands and looked at my eyes. "...spirits..."
"What?"
"Nothing. Just had to check something," she let go of me. "It's nothing you should be worry about. Now then. What did you want to talk about."
"I didn't get too much of a chance to check it while I was dealing with Citra, but you remember what the cause of that explosion was, right?"
"Sylphians. They were spies, no?"
"I think so. But... something just feels weird."
"What of it?"
