After a whole day of sailing, I could see land on the horizon. Amagi was just up ahead. I was going to be home soon...
It felt like forever... but... There is was.
"Land ahoy~!" a sailor voiced. "Amagi's just up ahead!!! Half sails!"
"Half sails!!" some other sailors repeated, lowering the sails to cut some speed.
A while later, we finally docked. The smell of brine and the sound of people speaking in Tendoen was a refreshing. Alice and Scarlet both felt perfectly at home here, along with Mary, but...
Everyone else basically had no idea what people were saying.
"Stick with me and don't stray away alright? It's going to be difficult to find you guys if you do- Claire, come back here!"
"S-Sorry. I got a little distracted."
"Sheesh. Come on, we're headed to my house first. It's been ages...."
"Alice wants to see mom again~!"
"Mom? What do you mean?" Ruira looked at us, confused.
"She means my mother. Alice lived with me for a while before we headed to Reverie anyways, so she calls her 'mom'."
"That's neat. So where's your house?"
"It won't take too long to reach. See that building there? That's a shortcut to my place."
We all walked towards the guild, while getting a few odd looks here and there. Mary and her white hair was eyecatching, while Fiore leading a Citra was another.
Upon reaching the guildhouse, the guards stopped us.
"State your business."
"I'm here to meet Amayasha-sama."
"And who are you to meet her?"
I dropped my hood, looking them in the eye.
"I'm Amagawa Raito, do I need to explain more?"
As they took a good look, their faces had a look of shock and fear as they recognised me.
"Y-Young Lord?! I'm terribly sorry!! Please forgive our rudeness!" they bowed.
"Ah, drop it, I've brought some friends along. Can you bring us to her?"
"At once, Young Lord!"
One of the two brought us inside, but before we got far, a wisp of white flames appeared in the air as Amayasha walked out of it, scaring the life out of the Claire.
"You've returned in one piece."
"Amayasha-sama."
"And you've brought friends. Come now, let's not waste time. We'll take the formalities to my office."
She led us through a door, bringing us right into her office. It was hard to get used to her instant travelling... One minute you're in one room, the next you're in another.
She sat on her chair, looking at all of us.
"Who's the kid?" Larry whispered.
"She's the spirit that runs this place."
"Oh crap.... she didn't hear me, did she?"
"I did, boy."
"I'm dead huh?"
"No matter. People tend to underestimate my presence. The new king of Reverie, and the queen of Sylphia. An interesting band of friends."
"Um... things happened."
