Chapter 2: Starting out

It's around 9 pm on the first day I arrived. I'm kinda scared about this. Tommorow will be my first full day with them. Remington calls me down to eat. I walk downstairs and stand awkwardly in the kitchen. Emerson sits down at the table taps the spot next to him. Sebastian brings in two plates. He sets one in front of Emerson and one in front for me. Remington sits across from Emerson. Sebastian walks back in with a plate for Remington and another for himself. We start to eat silently. Once we are done Sebastian takes our plates to the sink. I watch from beside him. I know what cleaning dishes is but I never done it, when we cleaned I did Windows and furniture.

You don't have to help me Ivy" Sebastian says smiling down at me.

I've never done the dishes before so I'm just watching, sorry" I answer. "Oh it's okay Ivy" he answers. I nod and go upstairs to change.

I play on my phone for a little until the guys walk into my room. They smile at me and sit at the end of my bed.

"Hey Ivy, it's getting late, maybe it's time for bed" Remington says while patting my head. I nod at them. Remington smiles and ruffles my hair. He tells me goodnight and leaves the room. Emerson kisses my hand and tells me goodnight, also leaves. Sebastian pulls the covers up to me, telling me goodnight before leaving. He turns out my light before shutting the door. The lights go out in the hall and doors close.

I woke up to the sound of my door shutting. I open my eyes more and lay there for a minute. I turn around and look at my desk. I stand up slowly and walk over to it. On the desk is a note and a plate with toast and a glass of orange juice. I pick up the note 'Dear Ivy, sorry we had to go to the studio for a little while. We will be home soon. We promise when we get home we will go out and spend time together. Go out shopping and go out for lunch? What ever you want sweetheart. Love you so much ~Remington, Sebastian and Emerson. Ps. Please make sure you are ready to go out by 1:00' I smile and look at the clock. It's now 9:37, alright then.

I eat breakfast and take a shower. I go to my closet and pick out what I'm going to wear. After that I do my hair and makeup. I look over at my counter and see a box. I open it up and see a new eyeshadow palette by Jeffree Star. Damn they know what's good. After I'm done with everything I walk downstairs with my phone. The TV is on and Spondgebob is playing. I smile and sit down. I look at the time and it is now 12:30. Just a little longer.

A couple minutes later the door opens and the boys walk in. I still can't believe I live here. They smile at me and Sebastian opens his arms for a hug. I smile and run to Sebastian. "Seb!" I say happily. "Hey what about us!" Emerson says, Remington and Emerson stand there with dramatic sad faces. I run over and hug both of them. "You look nice today love" Sebastian says patting my back. I smile and say thank you. They go to there rooms to clean themselves up again.

They come back downstairs and ask me if I'm ready. I nod and we walk to the car. We got in the car and started heading to the mall. I smile as Remington starts playing Sex Pistols on the Bluetooth car radio. Yeah, I definitely belong here with them.

We get to the mall and Sebastian grabs my hand and drags me to Hot Topic. Never been there before. "Welcome to our homeland" Remington says while grabbing my hand and running me to the back. Remington starts putting band shirts up to me and handing them to Emerson. I don't really get any say I guess. After picking up 5 band shirts, he brings me to the girly section. He picks up a couple of black jeans and a pair of red and black jeans. They grab more shit and hand it to Emerson. From getting a couple looks at the price tags, this is gonna be expensive. They went to go pay while I looked around.

When we left hot topic we went to Journys. Remington heads straight for the Doc Martin's. He comes back with a black pair just like his. I try them on and they fit right. Before I could say anything he goes to pay for them. I feel really bad about this. We walk around the mall for a while after that.

We get home and I go upstairs to go put my stuff away. While I was putting my stuff away, Sebastian walks in and smiles at me. He comes in and sits on my bed.

"Hey Ivy" he says while looking around. "Hi" I say while still putting stuff away and moving stuff around.

"Remington wanted to know if you would like to go to the park with him in a little while, after that Emerson asked if you would care to join him while going shopping for art supplies later" he says smiling at me.

"I would love to, tell Remington to come get me when he is ready and tell Emerson I would love to when I get home from the park" I answer while turning around and smiling. Sebastian nods and stands up, he gives me a quick hug and leaves the room.

A while later someone knocks on my door. I tell them to come in. Remington walks in and asks "Ready to go?" I nod and put my shoes on. We walk downstairs and to the car. We drive down to a park and he immediately looks at me with a smile. "Race you to the swings!" He yells while running out of the car. I run after him and pass him by. I jump on the swings right before him and laugh. He makes a sad face and sit on the one next to me.

We run around the park for an hour until we decide to go home. I'm really happy we got to hang out and get to know each other. Remington is a silly and sweet playful person. Really childish and funny. Always made sure I was okay when I fell and we laughed it off.

Once we got home, I went to relax for a minute before going out again, redoing my hair and fixing my makeup. Played on my phone for a little and layed in bed. It's now 5:32 And Emerson walked in my room. "Hey Ivy, Ready?" Emerson says while looking at the wall he drew on. "Yeah I'm ready" I say while getting out of bed.

We start heading to the store. We talk a little in the car. We get out and head inside. We start walking threw the store as I follow behind. He grabs some things as we walk along. He picks up a really large sketchbook. He smiles and hands it to me. "Go big or go home kid, it's a gift from your amazing uncle Emerson. I smile and hug him

"Thank you so much" I say smiling up at him. He nods and pats my head. We continue threw the store until we are done shopping.

Once we get home I go upstairs to my room. I put the sketchbook up against a wall and lay down on my bed. I smile and think about today. I'm really lucky and thankful. I cuddle up to my blankets as I drift off to sleep, thinking about my new family.
