Three Minute Warning
by PJ Perry
I don't have problem waking up in the morning
But I do when I hear the sirens of the three minute warning.
I know right then when my life will end
But when I see her face I wish I could extend
Her life
My wife
The one I hold dear
Could hold her close till next year
And forever
But I'll endeavour
She won't see my fear
As our end gets near
I will smile
For a little while
At her face
In my warm embrace
And just see
That she loves me
In that glance that's the last
Before we burn in the blast
We will be together
Forever!
