Pledge of the White Knight

I pledge to you these words I write
I will not lie gently down without a fight
For I will rage and rage against the tidal wave of night
My sword shall thrust down from heavens height
With all my might my strength shall ignite
And I'll blight and I'll smite and bare my teeth for I will bite
I'll take no respite to save those trapped in plight
For we know the difference between wrong and right
But if my time should end tonight, heed this within my funeral rite
The Sun will once again shine bright
Know this, that I have championed for the light!
