The Void between Good and Evil

The Void Between Good and Evil

Evil is the force in nature that governs and

Gives rise to wickedness and sin.

Good is the almighty hand

That does the counterbalancing.

I am the pivot in the scales,

I am in between as well,

Much too bad for heaven

And a little too good for hell.

I have no allegiance to either side,

My soul will be lost in between,

I'm just here for life's ride

There's so much that I've seen.

I'm just a simple man

So much that I'm complex,

I'm perfect imperfection

Or imperfectly perfect.

I inspire love and hate

I am blood followed by the flowers,

I'm the accident that tempted fate.

I was born from two opposing powers,

It is my life to win or lose,

I decide to cry or laugh,

I decide, not you, to choose.

I walk the now and choose my path,

I need no emotional revision,

I can n'er follow my own plans,

My destiny can be forged from indecision

For I am the spirit of no man's land.
