What a difference a day makes!

Bunny rabbits, little lambs,
New born babies, tiny hands,
Puppy dogs with gooey eyes,
Love songs and lullabies.
Heart skips beat and words get stuck
Then come at once and run amuck.
Maggots wriggle, rotten flesh,
Flowers wilt, smell of death.
Roadkill, take a pill,
I think of you and I get ill,
Insane in head, knifed in heart,
Teddy bears get ripped apart.
