Fire raged higher
Air made it flare
Earth lost worth
Water steamed its slaughter
Fire was a liar
Air gave prayer
Earth brought mirth
Water gave quarter
The Fire was Dire
The Air laid it bare
The Earth joined the firth
The Water made its mortar
Its spire twisted in the Fire
A nightmare in the Air
New birth shot from the Earth
They caught her in the Water
Spirit was born the fifth element!
