CHAPTER 12

Marie's POV

Hay! Nakakapagod talagang maging isang estudyante lalo na kapag sa highschool, pano pa kaya kapag sa college?

Pero kailangan ko rin mag-aral ng mabuti para sa kinabukasan ko eh.

Kamusta na kaya sila? Saka kamusta na rin kaya siya?

Hays!  Makatulog na nga lang muna, 1 week na lang ay exam na namin kaya todo review na ako pati na rin si Nathan. Naalala ko tuloy nung nasa library kaming dalawa kanina.

FLASHBACK

LIBRARY

TIME CHECK: 5:45pm

Kasama ko ngayon si Nathan dito sa library,  pareho kaming may assignment sa english. Quotes about sa love. Andito kaming dalawa dahil mas nagagawa namin ni Nathan ng mabilis kapag tahimik.

"Nathan!  May nasulat ka na ba? " tanong ko

"Ahh onti palang eh, ikaw ba? " tanong niya rin

"Wala pa eh, grabe naman kasi si Prof. Francis tsk!  Quotes about sa love. 1 to 20 pa naman. My god! " sabi ko

"Kaya nga eh, kanina nga nung umaga eh andaming nagreklamo sa pinapagawa niya. Hahaha! Ewan ko ba dun,  mahilig magpagawa ng assignment tapos mahirap pa! " tugon niya naman.

Tumawa na lang ako ng mahina at saka nagsimula ng magsulat.

Ang akin naman ay ang self love. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ito ang napili ko eh,  pero parang ineresado akong ito ang isulat ko.

1.) Self-love is not selfish; you cannot truly love another until you know how to love yourself.
2.) Be proud of who you are, and not ashamed of how someone else sees you.
3.) Be yourself. An original is so much better than a copy.
4.) Above all, be true to yourself, and if you cannot put your heart in it, take yourself out of it.
5.) You were born to be real, not to be perfect.
6.) Believe in yourself a little more.
7.) Put yourself at the top of your to-do list every single day and the rest will fall into place.
8.) You are free, you are powerful, you are good, you are love, you have value, you have a purpose. All is well.
9.) You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.
10.) Above all, be true to yourself, and if you cannot put your heart in it, take yourself out of it.
11.) Be yourself. An original is so much better than a copy.
12.) Be proud of who you are, and not ashamed of how someone else sees you.
13.) The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself.
14.) No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
15.) It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not.
16.) In order to love who you are, you cannot hate the experiences that shaped you.
17.) Remind yourself that you cannot fail at being yourself.
18.) Regardless of how anyone else feels about me, I am going to choose to love myself today.

20.) There is no sense in punishing your future for the mistakes of your past. Forgive yourself, grow from it, and then let it go.

"Uyy Nathan tapos ka na? " tanong ko

"Hindi pa eh, medyo mahina ako pagdating sa english eh! " sabi niya sabay kamot sa batok

Napatawa na lang ako.

"P-pwede mo ba akong t-tulungan? " nahihiyang tanong niya. Napatawa na lang ulit ako.

"Hmmm! Pwede naman,  basta ba libre mo ako ng ice cream mamaya! " sabi ko saka natawa naman siya.

"Sige ba!" sabi niya saka tinulungan ko na siya.
