"Woah, hey, calm down. He can't hurt you anymore. You're safe." He slowly moved towards me before wrapping his arms around me, pulling me into a gentle hug. I cried into his shoulder, letting all of my emotions out like a waterfall. Eventually, there wasn't any tears left to cry.

"Now, to answer your questions, I'm Ink, and we're in the Doodlesphere."

-----------------------------------------

I looked at him in confusion. "The Doodlesphere...?" I asked curiously.

"Mhmm! This is where all the aus are located at. It's my job to protect them."

"Protect them? From what?"

"From Nightmare and his gang. They go around terrorising innocent aus before destroying them. It's my job to keep that from happening."

I nodded my head. I could understand why he thinks that Nightmare is bad. But he isn't that bad nowadays. I don't think I even remember him leaving the castle ever since I got there.

"It is strange though. They've been attacking aus less frequently."

I looked at him. So that means...

"Anyways, I never got your name." He looked at me curiously.

"Oh, right. I'm Y/n." I said, rubbing my neck in embarrassment. I inhale sharply soon after and I jerked my hand away from my neck. I forgot that Nightmare marked me.

"Hey, are you ok?"

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. My neck is just sore," I lied, hoping that he wouldn't ask about it more.

"Here, let's check it out." Before I could object, he started gently pulling the hoodie off of me, revealing the mark on my neck and the halter top dress. I flushed red in embarrassment as I felt myself get hotter and hotter. I could see a slight rainbow hue on Ink face.

He then looked at the mark on my neck. His pupils turned red. "Nightmare's gone too far."

"H-Hey, i-it's ok," I stutter out, placing my hand on Ink's cheekbone. He seemed to calm down before hugging me. I hugged him back and snuggled up against him for warmth. His face was covered in a full rainbow.

"Y-Y/n?" I realized what I was doing and jumped back a bit.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!" My face was once again flushed red in embarrassment. Ink pulled me back into a hug and rested his skull on my head.

"No, it's fine. I enjoyed it." He then lied down and put me on top of him, pulling the blanket over us.

"We should get some sleep. We'll have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." I nodded and snuggled up close to him, slowly drifting off to sleep.
