Chapter 10 - the lonely night

You are sat tied to a chair in the centre of a pitch black room.

Suddenly a beaming light came down on you. With three figures Stood around you.

Your father says "you could have saved us,"

"You left us love," your mother said

"You failed me Y/N," susie cries

"I tried,"

"If you tried it means that you won't be able to protect jack, AJ or clementine,"

"You're a disappointment,"

"It should have been you,"

"No, you don't mean that," you cry

They say in unison "you failed us,"

The words fill you head echoing around you. It sounds like millions of people telling you how much of a failure you are.

It's true. You look up to see susie falling to pieces turning into the mangled corpse you had left.

You sit up and look around the room to see your single bed in the corner of the lodge bedroom. you've got the room to yourself because jack and AJ are having a sleepover.

You pant as you entire body sweats you tremble as you try to get the thought out of your mind.

There is a light knock on the door

"Yeah"

The door slowly opens showing clem with a lantern. She looks scared.

"Can I... erm"

"What,"

"Can I sleep in here with you,"

You are a little taken aback "sure" you answer "what's wrong,"

"I had a nightmare and it's lonely without AJ there and I'm so cold in that room,"

She lies down. You stand up and go and sit in the chair trying to fall asleep

"Y/N... is it ok if you lie with me for a bit,"

"Ok...,"

As you climb in you notice she is shivering and is tensed up. You wrap your arms around her and she seems to lay into you. After a while she stops shivering and a has become more relaxed.

You get up to move to the chair but a little voice says "No stay in here with me,"

"I'm not I'm just moving to the chair,"

"I mean the bed,"

"Oh," you say as you climb back into the bed. She wraps her arms around your chest as you do the same.

"I had one to,"

"Had what?"

"A nightmare. That's why I was so panty,"

"Oh thank god,"

"What,"

"I thought you where doing something else but I didn't want to bring it up,"

You chuckle and say "I would never," with a sarcastic tone. She laughs.

"Good night, Y/N"
