Chapter 51 - war

Sorry for the late chapter I've been really busy with school work and other things like that. I'll try and get back into the old routine of it but it might be a day late or something. Also some of the dialogue will be wrong so if you feel like it needs correcting just say. Anyway sorry again and hope you enjoy.

You and clem begin to walk out the gates when two voices call your names.

You both turn.

AJ: we want to help.

Jack: yeah.

You: I don't want you fighting. It's a new environment.

Clem: stay back here and be my eyes.

Jack: ok.

AJ: yes we will.

You ruffle both their hair.

You both turn and Clem takes out her knife and you pull your axe off your back.

You'd finally become a bit of an expert with it. You swing it round your hand, getting prepared to fight of the approaching walkers.

One is coming at you and you approach it. You get in the correct stance and swing. The sideways motion causes the blade to cut through the walkers head with ease.

You yank it out kicking the limp body back. You see Clem kill a walker by kicking it in the knee and stabbing it in the head.

Louis: nice Clementine but you need a little more style. Watch this. Hey you!

A walker starts walking towards Lewis. He pulls out a knife and cuts a rope attached to the tree. A huge boulder drops on the walker.

Clem takes notice and cuts a rope causing a log to swing and impale a walker.

You prefer the old fashioned way. It's more reliable and isn't a waste of good traps.

You spot another and cut of its leg with a swift hand motion. It falls to the floor with a thud and you stamp on the back of its head crushing its skull. All the adrenaline causes you to let out short bursts of energy were you let out a sharp grunt a bit like a dog.

Another comes closer and to stick the axe in its chest so it becomes lodged and then quickly pull down causing it to smash to the floor. It bites at the air and you place your boot on its chest, yanking out the axe.

Mid swing something bumps into you making you lose your balance. You spin and see a walker grabbing onto your arm and going for a bite. You grab it by the neck and lift it up. Its feet wiggle in the air as it is lifted of the floor and you pull your arm loose. You hold it in front of you and pull out your knife. With one motion it cuts through its temple like a fish through water.

You let go and it falls as the knife slips out. You turn to see your old walker regaining its feet and is sneaking up on Clem as she kills another. You throw you axe as hard as you can do it spiral through the air. It sticks in the walkers arm but doesn't faze it.

You: Clem!

She spins and sees the walker but it grabs hold of her arms and goes for a bite of her neck. You run at it full speed and rugby tackle it. You sit on top of it and grab the switchblade out of your boot and lodge it straight in his eye. You begin to let out the small grunts again.

You pull it out the blade and stand. You spot people with torches running from the forest.

Clem runs over to them as one gets cornered by a walker. He trips and sits against the tree. Clem stabs it before it bites him. It swings round and begins to crawl towards her.
