You dart up as you hear yelling and Clem slowly comes to her senses. You climb out of bed and put your shirt on and grab your knife.
Jack: what's happening?
You: don't know there is yelling coming through the pipes and it doesn't exactly sound like a party.
It in fact sounds very aggressive.
Clem: do we need to involve you knife though?
You: fine.
You drop your knife on the table and put your boots on and put your switchblade in one.
You put your coat and hat on and Clem puts her hat on and the two boys get ready to get going.
Clem: we can't just send a full army if it's just an argument. I'll go and come and get you if it's bad.
You: fine.
You grab your knife and start chipping patterns into the table, nervously.
Clem: Y/N, calm down. It'll be fine.
You: what if it's the hall gang?
Clem: it's not. Just calm down.
She walks out the room. Jack walks over to you as you sit on the bed continuously stabbing the table.
Jack: what are you nervous about?
You: it being the hall gang finally catching up with us.
Jack: it won't be the first time its happened. What's different this time.
You: after Lewis was killed I realised that each time they are getting closer and closer to actually killing me. I've been think what if the take one of you two or Clem next.
AJ: that's not going to happen. The 4 of us are to strong.
You: Numbers can overwhelm.
You say as you continue chipping the table, making large marks. The two boys just watch in silence.
You stop a moment and listen to the pipes. You can make out one or two words.
The voices are definitely becoming louder and louder. You can make out more and more as voices are raised.
???: they didn't die.
???: Brody!
???: he met up with the raiders.
???: BRODY!
???: he gave them away!
???: SHUT UP!!!
You hear a loud thump and it all falls silent for a while. You can hear very quiet voices.
You: I'm going out there.
You pick up your revolver and strap the holster around your leg and put the weapon in it.
You: AJ grab your gun.
He does as you order and jack grabs the knife you gave him.
You put your knife on the table because you have your gun.
You all sneak down the hallway and into the courtyard. There is an awful storm.
You spot Marlon slamming a cellar door and locking it. You hear someone yelling, as you walk into the middle of the courtyard.
You: Marlon! Where is Clementine?
Marlon: oh fuck.
You hear him mutter under his breath as he spots you stood there.
