Aimee's POV I woke up and lifted my head off of Shawn's shoulder. "Hey sleeping beauty" he smiled kidding my head. I looked over at Adalynn to see her in her carseat beside me.
"How long do we have till we get there?" I asked grabbing Shawn's water bottle. "We have about an hour left" he says. I nod taking a sip of the water and handing it back to him.
I looked at Adalynn to see her starting to wake up. I smiled, grabbing her hand and rubbing my thumb on her hand. She looks at me and gives me a huge smiled. "Omg!! Did you see that!!" I asked Shawn excitedly.
"Yes! She looks just like you, especially when she smiles!" He answered.
"Is that good?" I asked, looking up at him. "Of course not!! All the boys will be chasing after her and she's not allowed to date!" Shawn said, being a protective father. I couldn't help but smile and roll my eyes playfully.
"What's going on?" Jaxen asked from behind us. "Adalynn just gave me the biggest smile ever!" I say, excitedly once again. I then started smelling something and looked to see something drip through her pants.
"Shit" I whispered, unbuckling her. "What happened babe?" Shawn asked, looking over. "Adalynn pooped and it went through her clothes" I say, lifting her up but holding her out in front of me so it wouldn't get on me. It went up her onesie too.
"I'll change her" shawn says, taking her from me. "Okay. Theres a pair of pajamas in the diaper bag. Just put that on her since it's late and so we dont have to do it when we get to the hotel" I say, handing him the diaper bag. "You might have to ask a flight attendant or someone for a plastic bag" I added.
He nods walking to the back of the plane. My dad walks over and sat in Shawn's seat. "Hey baby" he says, smiling at me. I smiled back with a reply, "what's up?"
"Nothing. Your siblings are driving me crazy and your mom is on their side" he laughs. "WE KNOW YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT US!" Amelia yelled and she was literally two rows behind us. I laughed looking at him.
"Anyways, I just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you" he said. I looked at him with a confused look. "For what?"
"You realize how hard being a parent is? You're doing so well. Me and your mom cant get over the fact how you're already an amazing mom. You pushed that baby out of you! You're always calm when Adalynn cries! You always know what to do. You're handling this way better than I thought you were going to" he says. I smiled and said "I wouldn't be able to do it if I didnt have Shawn. He's a big help. Even during my entire pregnancy"
He smiled hugging me as Shawn walked back. "Its about time" I laughed, as my dad got up. "It went everywhere. It went all the way up on her back. She's probably going to need a bath tomorrow" he says, sitting down with Adalynn who was asleep.
"Did we pack her bath?" I asked. "If I'm not mistaken, I think your parents packed it" he says and I nod. I looked at Adalynn who was wearing a pink footie pajama with hearts all over it. It was honestly so cute.

"Oh yeah. And when I was changing Adalynn, I noticed that the diapers were a little big on her" Shawn says, taking a sip of his water.
"Yeah. I've noticed that too. I guess I forgot to tell you. We could probably go to the store tomorrow to pick up a size smaller" I say and he nods. I looked at Adalynn who was asleep on Shawn's chest.
"You're honestly the best dad ever" I smiled, looking straight into Shawn's eyes. "And you're honestly the best mom ever" he says, placing a gentle kiss on my lips. "NO KISSING IN FRONT OF THE BABY!" My mom yelled.
I just rolled my eyes laughing. I honestly feel sorry for my dad and everyone on this plane. Thank God we didn't have to sit with them.
"Your family is crazy" Shawn said, laughing. "Tell me about it" I laughed. "Can you put her in the carseat" Shawn asked.
I nod, carefully taking her from Shawn and placed her in her carseat. "I'll just buckle her in when we get ready to land. I'm keeping in eye on her so she doesnt really need to be buckled in" I say, turning around in my seat to get comfortable again.
"If I did that I'd probably wake her up. How did you do it?" Shawn asked, referring to me putting Adalynn in the carseat without waking her up.
I shrugged and replied with, "a magician never reveals their secrets"
He laughed grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers. After a few minutes I yelped and jumped scaring Shawn. "What the hell just happened?" He asked, looking at me concerned.
"Nothing" I answered. It kinda embarrassing. "Aimee" he asked. I sighed and just decided to tell him. "Nothing. I just felt a sharp pain" I answered, referring to my private area.
"Has it ever happened before" he asked. I shook my head saying, "no. This is the first time." He nods saying "we should keep in eye on it just in case"
He's so protective of me. I wonder what it'll be like as Adalynn gets older. I just shrugged and laid my head back. After about another hour we were finally landing.
"Its about time" I laughed, buckling Adalynn in her carseat. Adalynn was still asleep. I guess it isnt bad. Me and Shawn cleaned up our area and put all of our stuff away.
After we landed we walked off of the plane. Shawn was carrying the carseat and I had the diaper back and our carry on bags. "Sweet sweet Florida" I smiled. I've always loved Florida.
"Do you want to put the carseat cover on now?" Shawn asked. "No. We don't really need it cause it's dark. We could do it tomorrow before we go out" I answered and he nods.
After we get our bags we walked over to the rental car garage. The guy showed us different cars and Van's. After we picked our car we paid. It was about 130 dollars for each day.
My parents picked a van and me and Shawn picked a car so we have room for the baby. Adalynn was asleep in her carseat so she was being good as always. "Do you want to put that bottom or the carseat thingy in for me" I asked, placing the carseat on the ground and stretching. I was talking about the thing that the carseat connects to when you put it in.
After he puts it in, he takes the carseat and connects it. He closes the door. We put Adalynn in the middle again. "So we have a little while till we get to the hotel so we should leave now. If you need us or need to stop anywhere just call us" my mom says. We nod and head to the hotel. -------------------------------------------------------------- Comment for another update!
