Aimee's POV "did you get my ring baby? Dont worry Aaliyah, we'll get everything we always wanted and we'll be able to spend the rest of our lives together! ~Love, Jack" the note said. My eyes widened as I look up at Aaliyah. "What?" She asked, nervously. Everyone looked at me confused and I just froze.
"Aimee, what is it?!" She asked, snatching the paper out of my hand. I was about to take it back but I was too late. She read the note quietly and dropped the paper and just started balling her eyes out.
Her mom picks the paper and read it aloud. "I thought h-he was in jail" she cried, her voice cracking. "What about this? We go back to our rooms so Adalynn could sleep and me and Aimee's dad will call the cops and ask them what we should do. You and the kids will go get some rest since we have a early and busy day tomorrow" Manuel says and she nods walking out.
I sighed as they all leave the room. I looked over at Adalynn who just fell asleep. I look over at Shawn and hugged him. "Is she gonna be okay?" I asked. "Yes" he says, placing a kiss on my forehead and we get ready for bed.
3 IN THE MORNING Shawn's POV I woke up to Adalynn crying. I looked at my phone to see it was only 3 in the morning. I looked at Aimee and she was about to get up but I stopped her. "I got her" I say, getting up.
"Thanks" she says, sleepily falling back asleep fast. I walked over to Adalynn and slip the pacifier into her mouth. I stood there for 20 seconds and she falls fast asleep. Aimee's phone starts ringing and I quickly run over there s it doesnt wake the two sleeping beauty up.
I looked at the caller ID to see it was Aaliyah. Why the fuck is she calling at this time. "Why are you calling at this time Aaliyah? Aimee is sleeping and you should be too" I answered.
"I cant sleep" she says, crying. It sounds like shes been crying for hours. I sighed said "come over" and then hung up. After a few seconds, I hear knocking on the door. I answered and Aaliyah came in and immediately hugged me crying in my chest.
"I-Im s-scared" she says, her voice cracking. "Dont be. You're safe with us. I'll never let anyone hurt you" I say pulling away. "Here. You could sleep here" I say, pulling away and cleaned the extra bed off. She nods, climbing under the blankets.
"I know you probably think this is gross and inappropriate but can you sleep with me? Or at least cuddle with me until I fall asleep?" She asked and I smiled. "Of course. It's just like the good old times" I smiled, jumping in the bed.
When she was younger we would always take naps and cuddle and I loved that. I wrap my arms around and kissed her head gently as she laid on my chest. "Goodnight. I love you" I say, and with that we fell asleep.
6 IN THE MORNING Aimee's POV I woke up to my alarm going off. I reach to my phone and turned it off. I sighed looking over to see Shawn wasn't in the bed with me. "Where did he go?" I whispered to myself getting up from the bed.
I looked over to see Shawn and Aaliyah both sleeping and cuddling. It was so cute. I obviously grabbed my phone and and pulled up Instagram. I take a really cute picture of them cuddling and posted it on Instagram with the caption "cherish this forever ❤❤" I smiled. I also decided to sent it to Karen texting her "look what I woke up to 😫❤" after the message send I throw my phone on the bed. I looked at Adalynn to see her still asleep. I smiled as I walked over to my suitcase. and grabbed my outfit. I decided to wear my white and black striped crop top with shorts and my block flip flops. I had a jacket that cam with this outfit but I didnt want to wear it so I threw it in the diaper bag for later. I walked into the bathroom to get changed.
