A MONTH LATER AT NEW YORK CITY Aimee's POV It's been about a month since my family came over. Me and Shawn haven't been fighting and I'm glad. We're all at New York city right now. We're spending our first christmas as a family at times square. I'm not complaining because we get to see snow. It never snows in Florida and I love snow.
It was Christmas eve and we were just in our hotel room talking. "I still cant believe you'll be performing in times square. Its always been your dream!" I smiled, looking at Shawn. Adalynn was taking her nap in her playpen. She looked so cute.

It was a white onsie that says "my 1st Christmas" with a red tutu. Shes also wearing red socks with tiny baby shoes. It was so adorable. "when we go to the concert tonight wont it be too loud for Addy?" I say, calling Adalynn's nickname.
"It shouldn't be. You guys are going to be back stage. If it is then we could have someone take her into one of the dressing rooms" Shawn's manager says and I nod. His manager was also with us. The reason is because he had to talk to Shawn about a few things and we invited him to stay for a bit so we could get to know him better.
"I should get going now. I have to go get the stage and everything ready for tonight. Do you want me to bring your guitar now?" He asked shawn and Shawn nods. "Yeah. It's by the door so just grab it on your way out" shawn answered. We all said our goodbyes and he left.
"He seems nice" I say, walking over to Adalynn who was starting to wake up. "He is very nice" shawn says. I pick up Adalynn and smiled sitting next to Shawn.
Everyone looked at me and smiled. Another thing is that everyone is also being weird. They just seem really happy and excited for something and I dont know what it is. I just choose to ignore it.
"So I have to be at the stage by 7. The concert doesn't start until 9 pm so you dont have to come till 8:30. You could come with me if you want but you dont have to" Shawn says and we all nod.
"Here you go. She left a special present for daddy" I laughed, handing Adalynn to Shawn and Shawn laughed. "You could take the tutu off of her for now and I'll just put it back on later" I say and he nods walking over to the playpen that also had a changing table.

"You two are really good together. Even if you fight, you're always there for each other. You always help each other with Adalynn. I'm so proud of you Aimee for doing the right thing" my mom says and I smiled. I'm glad I didnt leave.
"I cant wait anymore. I want to give Aimee one of her big gifts now" Shawn says and I smiled. "You dont have to" I say. "Well I'm too excited. You dont get it till we get home but I have a picture!" He smirked pulling it out. He gave it to me and I looked at it confused. "You've been saying you wanted a Tesla so I got you one and you dont have a carse now you do!"he says and my eyes widened. "Omg baby!" I yelled, kissing him.
Someone knocks at the door and I looked at Shawn nervously. He nods as he picks Adalynn up from the changing table and I got up. I walked over to the door and took a deep breath. I opened and smiled.
"Hey Aunt Tori!" I say, hugging her. It was my moms sister. "WHAT THE HELL?!?!" My mom yelled pissed. "My daughter is in the room! Stop yelling!" I say and she rolled her eyes. "Why the fuck is she here?! She wasnt even invited" She says and I looked at Shawn.

You know what? She was invited!! Me and Shawn decided to invite her! Shes still a part of the family and we decided to let her be a part of Adalynn's life. I trust her with Adalynn. I dont care what you guys been through in the past because its the past! You should just forget about it. Shes your fucking sister! And whatever happened between you two probably happened like 10 years ago. I may not know what happened but what I do know is that she will be around a lot because I chose her to be in Adalynn's life and mine life! I don't care what you have to say about that! I'm a mom now and I'm doing what's best for my daughter!" I say. My aunt smiled while my mom just rolled her eyes saying whatever.
"Glad you could make it!!" Shawn smiled, hugging my aunt. "Glad I could be here for your big day" Aunt Victoria smiled, taking Adalynn from Shawn. I smiled and Shawn's phone started ringing.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Okay"
"Yeah sure"
"Okay. No problem" he says, hanging up the phone. "Okay. So I have to go to the stage now. They need me sooner than they thought. I'll see you at 8:30" he says, kissing me and rushing out.
"Shes adorable in this outfit" Aunt tori says and I smiled. "You should see her in the tutu" I chuckled. "Elena, can you start giving Madilyn a bath and get her ready?" My dad asked and Elena nods. "NO! I DONT WANNA TAKE A BATH!" Madilyn yelled, throwing a temper tantrum. I rolled my eyes and was about to sat something till Aunt tori beat me to it.
"Honey, taking baths are so much fun! Why are you so upset?! You could play in the bath and splash your sister" our aunt tells Madilyn and I smiled. Madilyn smiles running out into their hotel room with Elena.
"Stay the fuck away from my kids! Aimee may want you in her kids life but I dont want you in our life!" My mom says, walking out of the hotel and into hers. "Just ignore her" I whispered and she nods.
"We should start getting ready too" Shawn's mom said and I nod. "Thank you for being there for Aimee and my son. Cant wait to get to know you" Shawn's mom whispered to Aunt tori and everyone walked out so it was me, Adalynn, and Aunt tori.
AT THE CONCERT We've been at the concert for about two hours already. Sabrina Carpenter, fifth harmony, justin Bieber, selena Gomez, PINK, and Luke. Bryan already played. It was Shawn's turn. He was the last person to play. He runs onto the stage and yells as everyone cheered him on.
"So I want to do this special thing I had planned for a while first. I have a special present planned for Aimee and I'm pretty nervous about it so Aimee, please come up here" he says into the mic and my eyes widened.
I walked over on the stage and he points to the seat for me to sit on. I sit down and he started talking. "I wrote this special song just for Aimee. This is a song I call 'if I cant have you'" he says and started playing 'if I cant have you'
After he plays the song and smiles looking at me and grabbed the microphone. "Aimee, I never in a million years though I would end up with my best friend that I've known since we were babies. You are everything I've ever wish for and being with you make me the happiest guy on earth. We may fight and have our disagreements but nothing will stop me from loving you. You're the only person I've ever loved. You're not only so good to me but you're so good to our daughter. Our daughter is the luckiest girl to have a mom like you. You put others before yourself and that's what I love and hate about you. I love you so much to the point it hurts. I'm scared to lose you or that you wont love me anymore. We have so many memories together. We live together, we already have a kid together but theres one thing that's missing and that's marriage" he says, pulling out a box and opening it. My eyes widened as he gets down on one knee. "I know you said your dream was to get engaged on Christmas eve but you also always wanted to get engaged at times square in front millions of people so that's why we're all here today instead of new years. Im trying to make this dream of yours come true so Aimee, I can not imagine my life with anyone else but you!
