Aimee's POV It's been a few days since the hurricane. It finally calmed down and we finally got our power back yesterday. Today is Monday which means Adalynn goes back to daycare. Aunt tori was still over. She's going home today I believe. Or at least tonight. If I'm not mistaken her daughter is coming up tomorrow for a visit. It was about 5:30 when I woke up to Adalynn crying.
Not bad. That's the first time she woke up during the night. I mean she pretty much slept through the night. Shawn was already up and looked like he just finished getting ready for work. "Good morning baby" he smiled, walking out of our bathroom. "Good morning" I smiled, starting to feed Adalynn.
"So Adalynn's diaper bag is packed pretty much. I did it so you wouldn't have to worry about it. I put more diapers in there and there's extra clothes in there too!" Shawn says and I smiled. "Thank you!" I say. He walked over and leaned down to give me a kiss. "I have to head out now. Aunt tori is still asleep on the couch! I put all the dishes away from the last few days so you don't have to worry about it!" He says and I smiled even bigger.
"You're the best" I say. "I know!" He says, with confidence and he kissed me one more time. "I love you!" He says and with that he rushed out. "I can't wait to marry your daddy, you know that?" I say in a baby tone tapping Adalynn's nose. She smiled a little and continued eating.
After about 10 minutes, she finally finished. I smiled, laying her back into the bedside crib. I get out of bed and stretched. Adalynn quickly fell back asleep so I decided to take a shower. I haven't taken one for like 4 days now. I just never had the time because of Adalynn. That's the longest I've gone without showering.
I walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on. I grabbed a towel from her closet and laid it on the toilet seat. I strip down till I had nothing on. I climbed into the shower and smile sighing in relieve. "Ahhhh. That feels so good" I smiled, massaging my hair while it was getting wet.
After I shampoo, conditioned, shaved, and obviously washed my body I turned the shower off. I reached over and grabbed the towel. I wrapped it around my body as I climbed out of the bath tub. I walked back into my bedroom where Adalynn was still sleeping. I smiled, walking over to our walk in closet and found an outfit to wear.

It was like a purplish tank top with a white cardigan and jeans and of course my white vans. I go back into the bathroom and tried my body off. I then wrapped my hair in the towel and put my outfit on.
I smiled, waking out of our bedroom and walked through the living room. "Oh. Hey!" I smiled, walking into the kitchen. "So when is your daughter coming over?" I asked, turning the coffee pot on. "Tomorrow morning I believe. I'm so excited for you to meet her!!" She says, happily and I smiled walking back into the living room.
I hear Adalynn waking up. "I could go get her so you could finish getting ready!!" Aunt Tori says, happily and I laughed. "Sure. Come on!!" I say and she followed me into my bedroom. "If you want you could pick her outfit and change her for me!" I smiled. She had the biggest smile ever.
