Pregnant At 17

TAKING THE JOB

Aimee's POV
"In Miami which means I would have to move there" he says and my eyes widened. I was hurt and scared but didnt want to show him. "But I'm not taking it" he says and I looked at him as he turned into the parking lot.

I sighed. "You have too. It's a great opportunity" I say. "And leave you and Adalynn?" He asked, parking the car. "I'm upset and all but we could handle it. We could visit each other and keep in touch" I say taking off my seat belt and getting out of the car.

I opened the back door and grabbed the carseat. I accidentally slammed the door and apologized. "Aimee, I wont go if you dont want me too" he says, carrying the diaper bag. "That's the problem! I dont want you to leave but you have too!! This is a opportunity you dreamt of since you were little. If you dont go, who do you think I will blame? Me. You have to" I say, opening the door and he simply nods.

"Hey. This is our first time talking over something without fighting" I say, smiling and he smiles back. We walked up to the front desk. "We have an appointment" I say.

"What's your name?" She asked. "Aimee Williams" I smiled. "Okay. You're all set. Go sit down. The doctors will be with you shortly" she smiled. We walk in the waiting room and sat down. "Are you okay?" Shawn asked and I smiled.

"Yes" I smiled, laying my head on his shoulder. His phone vibrates and he looks at the caller ID. "Its Adalynn's doctor" he says, answering the phone.

"Aimee" the doctor says. We both get up and I grabbed the carseat. "Uh, at 1?" Shawn says, walking into the room the doctor assigned as. "Lay on the bed please?" She asked, closing the door. I do as she says.

"Yeah. Sure. Thank you" Shawn says, hanging up. "Sorry about that" Shawn says. "That's all okay" the doctor laughed, washing her hands. "That was Adalynn's doctor. We had a one week appointment for her tomorrow but one of their patients canceled today so they were able to get us in today at 1" he says and I nod smiling.

"So what's going on?" The doctor asked slipping her gloves on. Adalynn starts fussing and I looked at Shawn. "Her pacifier should be in her bag. That's probably what she wants" I say and he nods looking for it.

"Anyways, I've been feeling this sharp pain in my area down there" I continued. "It isn't in there" he says, lifting up Adalynn who was crying now.

"What does it feel like?" She asked and i shrugged. "I dont know. It just hurts when I move a certain way I guess. It hurts really bad for only like a second" I say and she nods. "Can you remove your pants and underwear please?" She asked.

This is the part I hate. I should be used to it cause I was pregnant but I'm not. I nod standing up. I removed my items and laid back on the bed. She starts looking and feeling my private area making me flinch. "Sorry" she says, standing up.

"Okay so I found the problem. It's nothing really serious but you will need to get stitches. So when you had Adalynn the doctor stitched you back up. Well, one of your stitches I guess tore and start ripping the other too and that's causing the discomfort and pain" she says and I looked at Shawn.

"So what should we do?" I asked, not really wanting to know the answer. "Well, you're going have to get stitched back up. We have an opening today right now but dont know if you have time cause you mentioned another doctors appointment earlier for your daughter" she says.

"How long would it take?" Shawn asked and I looked at him. I wanted to say something but didnt want to start anything. I didnt want to go through this today but whatever.

"Typically it takes up to an hour to two hours" she answered and I gave shawn the death glare who was holding Adalynn. "Yeah. We have time" shawn says and the doctor smiles.

"Okay. Let me get the nurse and we could get started right away" she says, walking out. "I hate you" I say. "I love you too" he laughed.

I looked at Adalynn who was asleep on Shawn's chest. "We're going to miss you when you move" I say, bringing up this subject again. "I wont go" he plainly answered.

"You're going because if you dont you'll regret not taking this opportunity!" I say and he rolled his eyes as the doctor and nurse walked in. That was fast.

"Oh shit. Can you call my mom and explain to her what happened and that we wont be home until like 3 because we have a doctor's appointment for Adalynn now" I answered and he nods.

"Okay. So we're obviously going to numb the area which wont hurt at all. But when we start doing the stitches you might feel a little pressure" she says, getting everything ready.

AFTER ABOUT TWO HOURS

Aimee's POV

After I got done they helped me get up and put my pants and stuff on. "Okay so Aimee cant do a lot for about a week. This means she cant carry heavy objects cause she'll be in pain probably. Other than that everything is okay. If she wants to heal faster I would suggest sit down and relax. If you're feeling pain after a week or notice blood within the week call us immediately" she says and I nod.

I grab the diaper bag since I cant carry the carseat and we walked out. "Just letting you know I'm going to go spend the night at my parents house if that's okay" Shawn asked as I signed out and I nod.

We went to Adalynn's doctor and everything was fine. However, she had to get four shots which is normal. She cried and which made me cry literally. After that we went home and Shawn went home that night. I was also in extreme pain for the rest of the day. When we went to bed, Adalynn fell fast asleep and I cried myself to sleep knowing Shawn will be moving and I cant see him as much.
