FIRST OFFICIAL NIGHT AT HOME

A FEW DAYS LATER

It's been a few days since we went to Disney and everything happened with Shawn. I guess you could say that I was still a bit distant from him because I was still upset but I did forgive him.

Oh, and no we are not engaged. I thought he was proposing but he wasnt. It was a promise ring and he wanted to promise that we would stick with each other no matter what God puts us through and that we will always solve our problems when it gets bad. It was also our first 'I love you' which made me really happy and it happened at my favorite place.

Believe it or not, that's always been my dream. I dont know why though. I guess you could say dreams do come true. We literally just pulled into the driveway at home. We just got back from vacation and it feels amazing. Its officially Adalynn's first night home. It was about 9 at night so it was pretty late.

"Why dont you take Adalynn in and relax and feed her? I'll help your parents unpack" shawn suggested and i nod. His parents and Aaliyah are at their house. Shawn is probably pretty much going to be moving in with us because of Adalynn. I just hope it works out. I got out and it was very chilly and windy.

"Damn" I say, getting out of the car. I open the back door and grabbed the carseat. I closed the door and my mom looked at me. "Here's the keys" she says, throwing me the house keys and I surprisingly caught it.

I walked towards the house and struggled to get the door open. I was trying to hurry because Adalynn didnt have a sweater or blanket on and she started to fuss cause she was hungry.

I eventually got it and walked in. I closed the door and walked towards the living room. I throw the keys on the coffee table and sat down on the couch. "Its your first night here" I say in a baby tone, unbuckling Adalynn. I lift my shirt up and she starts eating.

I lay back and just started to think about all of the crap that has happened especially with Aaliyah. That day we found that note from her ex, her parents called the cops and they told us to leave it with the lady in the hotel that was in the lobby and the cops stopped by when we were at Disney and picked the note up.

We found out Jack wasnt the one who left a note there. Theres someone else that's involved now and that's working with Jack so we've been careful. So far nothing has happened. Knock on wood.

I got distracted from my thoughts when Shawn walks in. He walks into the living room and I smiled. "Should I put our suitcases upstairs?" He asked and I nod.

"Adalynn is going to be sleeping with us for a little while so we still have to set everything up for her" I say. "Okay. We'll do that after I'm done helping" he answered and I nod as he walks upstairs. He walks back downstairs and I stopped him by saying "babe, can you grab the diaper bag. It's in the back seat"

He nods walking out and I finished feeding Adalynn. I pull my shirt down and just sat there holding her. I didn't have any where to put her. Amelia walks in and I looked to see that she was holding the box with the bouncer in it. "Hey, can you give me that?" I asked and she nods.

"Want me to set it up?" She asked, placing the box down. "Sure" I simply say. She opens the box and starts setting up. She was struggling but eventually got it. "Thanks" I say, standing up. She walks out without saying a word.

I guess you could say we havent really talked since I found out she dated Shawn. I placed Adalynn in the bouncer as Shawn walks in. "Here you go baby" he says, placing the diaper bag on the couch. "Thanks" I say, finishing buckling Adalynn in.

"We make pretty cute babies" he says. I stand up and smiled agreeing with him. "I have to find a job still" I sighed. "Babe, you have time. You just had a baby almost a week ago. Even if you get a job you wouldn't start for another month or two because of maternity leave. You just sit at room and relax as long as you can. Besides, I have a job and I make money from YouTube as well" he says and I smiled nodding.
