THE PHONE CALL

A week later
Aimee's POV
It's been a week since we met Meredith. We've gotten so close for the week she's been here. We hung out everyday she was here and she knows my past and everything I've been through. She knows how me and Shawn landed up together. She even knows Shawn's crazy ex. We all remember her. The one that tried killing my baby etc.

We had so much fun together. We went to the beach, shopping, and even watched movies. I'm actually so excited for Meredith to move down here. She also was obsessed with Adalynn. She fed her, changed her all the time, and played with her. You could tell Adalynn had so much fun too. She was giggling all the time.

She was also doing great with the formula. The first few times she wouldn't eat at all because she preferred my milk but she eventually got used to it. However, I do miss breastfeeding. That was my favorite thing in the world.

Anyways, we just got to the daycare to drop Adalynn off at daycare. It's Monday. Shawn also has off from work today which is great. I decided to keep Adalynn home for the rest of the week last week so she could hang with Meredith too and of course her uncle. "Can I come in?" He asked as I jumped out of the passenger side.

"Of course" I smiled, grabbing the diaper bag and he grabbed the car seat. I put my finger in the sensor and Shawn pulled the door open. I walked in and walked towards the computer. "Hey!" Shawn says smiling. I turned around to see him talking to Christine who was in the room with the young toddlers.

I signed Adalynn into the computer and I smiled. "Come on" I say, walking into the latchkey room which was for school age. Shawn followed me into the back room where Jill and Marissa were. "YAY!" Jill says, jumping up and down making us laugh. Shawn sits the car seat onto the table and Jill ran over to Adalynn. "I missed you so much last week!" She says, taking Adalynn out of the car seat quickly. I laughed smiling.

"She has a pair of pjs in her diaper bag. Can you please put that on before we pick her up!" I asked. "Yeah of course!" Marissa exclaimed, grabbing the empty car seat and placing it into the back closet.

"Okay. Her pacifiers her in her bag. Her bottles are in her bag. The same amount. 4 ounces. They're already filled with water. You just have to obviously put the formula in it" I say, putting the diaper bag down on the table. "Okie dokie" Jill smiled and with that we left.

Back at home
We walked into our apartment and I smiled. Shawn throws the keys onto the little table we have by the door and pushing me against the wall leaving me confused.

"We're finally alone" he whispered, kissing me slowly and passionately making me moan into the kiss. I smiled, pushing him away. "Maybe later" I laughed, walking into the living room and he looked at me. "Are you okay?" He asked and I nod. "Yeah I just have a headache" I answered, running my head. "Do you want any aspirin?" He asked and I shook my head smiling. I took about a 3 hour nap. When I woke up Shawn was sitting on the couch watching tv.  "How was your nap?" He smiled. "Good" I answered.

I got up to go to the bathroom but as I got up my phone starts ringing which startled me. Shawn looked at me muting the TV as I looked at the caller ID. It said unknown caller. I shrugged at Shawn as I answered. "Hello?" I say, making it sound like a question. The next thing I know is that my jaw dropped and I dropped my phone as I broke down.
