BEACH DAY PT 2: ATTITUDES

Aimee's POV

"Hey Aaliyah! Look who I ran into! It's your boyfriend Jack!" Shawn said, approaching us. I look ove at Aaliyah to see her turn around with wide eyes. She was terrified.

"Hello baby" Jack says, smirking walking over to Aaliyah. "Get your dirty filthy hands off of her!!" I say, trying not to yell. "Its okay" Aaliyah mouthed to me. It's not okay. I understand why she doesnt want me saying anything. It's because everyone doesnt know what happened but it still isnt okay.

I felt someone tugging me and it was Shawn dragging me away from everyone. "What the hell was that?" He asked, stopping in his tracks. "What?"I laughed innocently.

"Are you like over protective of my little sister or something?" he laughed again. "You know what? Yes I am and you should be too!! God knows what Jack could do to her! He could rape her or abuse her!" I snapped. My eyes widened after realizing what I said.

"Aimee, where is all of this coming from?" he asked, finally being serious. I sighed with tears in my eyes as I sat in the sand digging my feet into the hot sand, looking straight into the ocean as the waves comes crashing down. "Aimee, what's wrong" he asked, sitting next to me.

I looked at him as the flashbacks started to come back. "There's something I have to tell you. I never told you because your were over protective of me and I knew you would probably flip. No one knows this but my family. You remember my uncle Jack?" I asked and he nods.

"Well, when I was about 13 years old he started to abuse me. He was always abusive but he started to abuse me. I would cry everytime I went to bed and I would always hide because I was terrified. One day came and I was home alone by myself with him and he tried raping me but fortunately he got caught but he was so close to it and he finally went to jail" I cried.

"That's why you were hesitant when we first slept together?" He asked, and I nod wiping my tears away. "Aimee, you could tell me anything. I'm always here for you. I would never do anything to hurt you" he says, pulling me in a hug. "What about Aaliyah" I asked, looking at her to see Jack trying to touch her and she keeps pulling away. He was getting frustrated.

"I'd do anything to protect her too" he says. I pulled from the hug and looked him in his eyes. "We have to keep Jack away from Aaliyah" I say and he gives me a confused look.

"I cant Aimee. I understand you're scared and protective of her but she loves him" he laughs standing up and helping me stand up. "You dont understand Shawn. She's terrified of him. She cried to me this morning because he raped her the other day!" I say and his eyes widened.

He turns around and starts running back to my family. "GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF OF MY LITTLE SISTER!" He yelled, as I ran behind him. He jumps on Jack knocking him down.

"SHAWN!!" Everyone yelled. "THIS FUCKING BASTARD RAPED MY SISTER!" He yelled, punching him. "You told him?!" Aaliyah asked, running to me. "I had to Aaliyah. I've been in the same situation with my uncle and it isnt fun! Besides, I saw him touching you and you kept trying to move away. I was protecting you" I say and she sighed watching my dad and her dad pull Shawn off of Jack.

"What is going on here" the beach security asked, walking up to the two boys. "He wont leave my sister alone and he also raped her!" Shawn answered, giving Jack death glare. The security calls for back up and pulled Jack to him.
