ADALYNN'S FIRST BIRTHDAY

It's been a few months since Shawn's birthday. We still haven't been able to go back to work because of the virus but we're collecting unemployment so it's fine. Today's Adalynn's birthday. I honestly can't believe she's already one. Where has the time gone? She's been starting to talk. She's been saying mama and dada. She's also starting to walk. I still can't believe it. It feels like just yesterday I had her.

I smiled at Adalynn who was currently eating Cheerios in the high chair. I looked at Shawn who was playing on his Nintendo switch. I got him that for his birthday.

"How is she already one" I sighed, throwing myself next to Shawn on the couch and he shrugged. "I don't know baby" he says turning his game off. Sebastian was at the kids table eating his breakfast too.

Since we're all supposed to be in quarantine we're just gonna go to my dads for a small party. My siblings are obviously going. Shawns parents are going and Aunt Tori as well. I'm assuming Aaliyah is going. I haven't really talked to her at all. Jeremy left her because the way she was treating me and she lost it and blamed it on me. I honestly felt so bad and didn't ask him to do it. He just did it.

He was obviously heartbroken. He honestly loved her.

Anyways, me, Shawn, and Sebastian were already dressed. I always wait to dress Adalynn till she's done eating cause she's messy. She's also off her bottles. She's been drinking from a sippy cup now.

We give her water, juice, and obviously milk now. I still can't believe she's one.

I looked up at Adalynn who was shoving Cheerios in her mouth. "Baby, be easy" I smiled and she giggles. "Baby, is it gonna be weird with Aaliyah there?" I asked and he shrugged. "I honestly don't know. But if I were you I'd just try avoiding her. If she tries to say something let me know" he says and I smiled nodding.

"Mommy, is Uncle Jeremy gonna be there?" Seb asked, walking up to me with his dirty plate that Shawn took from him to put in the sink. "Yes he will" I smiled.

Sebastian has a special relationship with Jeremy now. Which I'm glad. He has a somewhat relationship with his father but doesn't know it. I'm just happy they have that special bond though.

He's also obviously been calling us mom and dad, and our parents grandma and grandpa. I mean, I'm not complaining. I'm glad he has a safe home now with people that actually love him. My dad knows we adopted him. He was kinda upset at first because he didn't think I could handle it but he got used to it and now he loves him.

"I'm going to change Adalynn now!" Shawn says and I smiled nodding. "Here babe. Play on my phone while I clean up a little so we could leave" I say, handing him my phone and he climbs up on the couch.

I smiled and walked into the kitchen to see Shawn already cleaned the high chair and table. I smiled and walked over to the sink and did the dishes. After I washed the dishes I obviously dried them and put them away. As I finished Shawn walked in and kissed my neck as he hugged me.

"I love you so much baby" he smiled making me smile. "I wanna see Adalynns outfit!" I smiled, walking into the living room to see her walking around.
