Pregnant At 17

SHE KNEW?!

Aimee's POV
"....I'm pregnant" I say. They all were shocked. Elena obviously already knew so she didn't show any emotions and Maddie is only a little girl and doesn't understand so have course she didn't show any emotions but the one question that did cross my mind was, why didn't my mom show any emotions? She didn't look shocked or anything. She looked like she...knew.

I gave my mom a look and she looked back at me. "I know" was all she said.

"What? How?" I asked, confused how my mom knew. Did Elena say something to her? "Aimee, you're my daughter. You think I wouldn't notice any changes from you? You gained weight, your boobs got bigger, you're peeing a lot, and the stuff you crave. Those are pretty much all of the symptoms of pregnancy. I've gone through this 5 times. You think I wouldn't notice my daughter being pregnant?" She asked.

I just shrugged and looked down. No one knew what to say and I understood that. Like what do you say when your teenage daughter tells you that you're pregnant? So I understood why they didn't say anything. It's hard.

"I'm not okay with this Aimee. You're way too young to be a mother but I'll help you. It'll take me a while to get used to this but I'll get over it" my dad says, and I smiled giving me a hug. He was my main concern. He's usually overprotective.

"But I have one question? Who's the father of your baby?" He then asked and I take a deep breath looking over at Shawn nodding. "I am sir" he says. That's when everyone stopped why they were doing and looked at us.

"But how? When?" My mom started asking question. "It was at camp. It was our last night and we were having a camp fire with everyone. Well people wouldn't leave me alone and started bullying me and I ran away. Shawn ran after me and comforted me and well that's when things got out of hands" I said and my dad smiled.

"I'm happy it's him and not some random fuck boy" my dad stated.

"Wait! Really?" I asked, shockingly. "Yea. I've known Shawn my whole life. He's a good man and I'll know he'll be there for you and the baby. He's always there for you no matter what happens" my father says, and I smiled happily knowing my dad isn't as mad as I thought he'd be.

"Damn. We're going to be grandparents! If we old!" My mom says. "You are old" I mumbled underneath my breath. "What'd you just say?!" She says, obviously knowing what I had just said. "Nothing!" I quickly say and she came and hugged me.

We all laughed and she looked me with a serious face. "Just know that I'll be there for you no matter what. I mean I'm upset but I know you two will be great parents!" She says, making me smile.

See what I mean? They're always there for me no matter what. How'd I get so lucky to get an amazing family?
