Pregnant At 17

HAVING THE BABY...IS SHE GOING TO SURVIVE?!

Aimee's POV
Everyone rushed me to the hospital so we're all sitting in the hospital room just hanging out. My dad and Jermey stayed home to get the car seat and just to get everything situated and to grab my hospital and diaper bags that were already packed. We were all worried about getting me to the hospital and we didnt grab anything. After they're done they're going to obviously come to the hospital.

We gave Madilyn the option to stay with them also so she isn't bored at the hospital but she wanted to come. The doctors keep checking to see how much I'm dilated. As of now I'm 5 centimeters dilated and my contractions are about 3 minutes apart. It wasn't as painful when it first started but now its getting there.

"Mom, can you tell the doctor that I'm ready for my epidural" I asked, holding my stomach. She smiles running out. "Are you almost done Aimee?! I wanna meet my niece" Madilyn asked and I laughed.

"Madilyn, sweetie, it's going to take a little longer. Aimee still has to push. It could take several hours" Elena answered, placing Madilyn in her lap. "Is there a way to make it go faster??" She asked impatiently and we all laughed.

Shes so adorable. I love her so much. My mom came back with my doctor following behind her. "Ready for the epidural?" She asked. I slowly nod terrified. I've never been good with needles. I always hated them and still do.

Shawn came next to me as I sat up and he held my hand. I smiled looking up at him. "All done" the doctor said and I was shocked. "What the hell?!?! I didn't even know you started doing it" I say and the doctor laughed. I started feeling a little sting but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

I carefully laid down and Shawn smiled down on me. "Why are you looking at me like that" I laughed blushing mad crazy. "Because you're beautiful" he smiled. That made me blush even more if that's possible. We stared deep into each other's eyes as we got closer and closer. We got interrupted by my moms phone ringing and we quickly pulled away forgetting everyone was in the room.

"Hey honey"

"Okay. Hold on" my mom say talking to my dad I guess.

"Is everything packed in the diaper bag? And do you need anything else?" My mom asked and I thought for minute. "Make sure the baby blanket and pacifier is in the bag and bring my breast pump just in case" I say and she nods answering my dad.

She hangs up, saying that my dad and brother will be here soon. I smiled just laying back relaxing. After about half an hour my dad and brother finally got here. By this time I'm about 9 centimeters dilated which means I'll be pushing soon.

I decided that Shawn is the only one staying in the room because it's a special moment, you know? I would want to be there for my child's birth if I was the father.

The doctor came in to check on me and see how far I am. She smiled calling in all of the nurses and my eyes widened. "Its time!" She exclaimed. My family gave me kisses and ran out of the room. I tried not to freak out but this was the scariest thing ever.

"Dont worry! I got you!" Shawn said and that calmed me down somehow. "Ready? Push" the doctor said. I start pushing. It was very painful but I needed to get this human being put of my vagina.

After a few hours, she was finally here. I smiled as she cried and they handed me to her. I needed to have skin and skin with her before they wrapped her in the blanket or something. Not even a second they took her away and started running around and ran out of the room and all I could think was "what the hell is happening?! Am I going to see her again."
