FINALLY PLANNING THE WEDDING

Aimees POV
I was still watching the fosters with Adalynn sleeping on my chest. I didn't realize what time it was until Shawn walked out. "When did you wake up?" He asked, walking in the kitchen. "I've been up. Why are you awake? What time is it?" I asked, looking at my phone and he chuckled.

"It's 8 in the morning" he answered and my eyes widened. "I've been up all night" I answered. "Damn" he says, turning the coffee pot on. "She wouldn't let me put her down no matter what. Every time I moved my arms away she would just start crying. As soon as I picked her up she would fall right back to sleep. I tried several times putting her down but she did not want to be put down" I say, yawning and he smiled walking in.

"Awe. Baby Adalynn just wants her mommy" he says sitting down by my feet and I just rolled my eyes. "Shut the hell up" I laughed. "I'm guess you want coffee?" He asked and I smiled. "Yes!!! Please. That'd be amazing" I say, sitting up and he smiled.

"Have you heard from your dad?" He asked, getting up and walking into the kitchen. I tried laying Adalynn on the couch with my hand on her stomach so she wouldn't try rolling over and hopefully she'll stay asleep which she did.

"Yeah. He texted me at 12 in the morning saying they're getting on the plane or whatever. I haven't heard from him since that so I'm guessing they might be still on the plane" I answered and he nods pouring me some coffee.

He walks in with my coffee and hands it to me. "Thank you" I smiled, taking it. I take a sip leaving my one hand on Adalynn. "Wow she actually let you put her down?" He asked and I rolled my eyes. "Haha. Very funny" I say, reaching over to the coffee table to put my coffee mug on.

My phone rings and I look at it to see it was my dad. "Hey!!" I answered smiling. "How was your night? I saw you stayed up pretty late cause you texted me at 1:30" he laughed. "No. Adalynn woke up screaming. I've been up all night cause she would not let me put her down whatsoever. She hasn't been feeling great" I answered.

"Awww. Poor baby!" He says. "Anyways, we just landed! We're still at the airport getting ready to leave! Do you want us to like stop by your house now? Or do you wanna like wait till tomorrow and you guys could come over and we could hang out for the day and have like a bbq or something?" He suggested and I thought about it.

"Yeah let's do that so that you guys could get situated in the new house and hoped Adalynn will feel a bit better! I'm kinda hesitant about her going out cause she's sick!" I say looking down at Adalynn.

"Okay! Sounds like a plan! I'll call or text you later to discuss it!" He says. "Okay. Love you!" I say. "Love you too!" He says and with that I hung up. I put my phone down on the coffee table and looked down at Adalynn who was waking up. She slowly opens her eyes and I smiled.

"I think she has to be changed" I laughed. It smelled like she pooped again. "I'll go change her!" Shawn says, picking up Adalynn and walking into the nursery. I reached on the side of the couch where o left the diaper bag. I reached into the bag and grabbed the cream.

I walked into the nursery where Shawn was about to take her diaper off. "Here's her diaper cream" I say, placing it next to her and he smiled. He grabs a few wipes and takes her poopy diaper off. She lifts her legs up and as he was wiping she farted and pooped. It went flying and went all over Shawn. I ducked so I wouldn't get hit.

I stand up and looked at Shawn. I tried so hard not to laugh but I failed. I bursted out laughing while Shawn was just standing there. "Uhh babe. You have something right there" I say, pointing to where the poop all landed and he looked at me.

"Wow. I did not know that!" He says sarcastic and I just laughed my ass off. He wanted to act like he was mad but he also wanted to laugh about it but tried holding it in. "I'm gonna go take a shower!" He say, backing up and I put a hand on Adalynn so she wouldn't roll over.
