Aimee's POV

"So, Adalynn has....." he started to say. "Oh. That's weird" he says, glancing at the paper one more time. I obviously thought something was wrong. "What?! What is it?!" I asked, panicking.

"Your daughter is completely normal" he says, I couldn't help but smile. "What?" Shawn chuckled happily. "There's absolutely nothing wrong with her. It's strange because she only had 1 percent change of being normal. It's a miracle" he says. I sighed in relief.

No offence, but I am relief that my child is normal. Even is she wasnt, I'd still love her. It's just a lot having a child with a disease or syndrome, you know?

"I'm going to talk to the other doctor and make sure everything is right on this paper. I just want to double check because this rarely happens" he says and I nod as he walked out of the room.

I smiled looking down at my daughter. "I love you babygirl" I say, kissing Adalynn's forehead. "Can I hold her now?" Shawn asked laughing. I smiled handing her over to her daddy. "See? Me and daddy are together now" I say in a baby voice to Adalynn and everyone laughed.

"We make pretty babies" Shawn said, placing a kiss on my cheek. How'd I get so lucky with an amazing daughter and boyfriend. I really hope this works out cause if it doesnt. It could possibly ruin our friendship.

The door opens revealing Shawn's parents and sister. "Omg. Shes precious" they all say surrounding Shawn and Adalynn. "Want to hold her?" He says, looking at his mom and she smiled nodding. He hands her over to his mom and they take turns holding Adalynn.

The door opens and two of my doctors walked in. "So yeah Adalynn is completely normal but that could always change. We want you to stay for an extra night just to make sure shes healthy" the other doctor said and I looked at my mom.

We were suppose to go home today but we have to stay till Tomorrow. "But we're suppose to go away the day after tomorrow. That's not enough time to pack mine and Adalynns stuff" I say and my dad looked at me.

"I'll go home tonight and pack. Your mom will probably come since she knows what you'd probably pack" my dad answered and I nod.

"We'll also give Adalynn her shots so she should be okay to go away" the doctor says. "Thanks so much!" I smiled, looking at Aaliyah who was holding Adalynn now.

The doctors walked out and I smiled. We were all planning on going away including Shawn's parents and sister. We had this planned for a long time and our second year going. We decided to make this a tradition every year since I found out we were pregnant with Adalynn.
