Aimee's POV We're at the wedding reception. Unlike the wedding, it was indoor. We wanted the reception to be indoors so we aren't sweating outside all day.
Anyways, everyone was just inside talking. Me and Shawn didn't go in yet because my dad wanted to announce us to walk in or whatever and have our first dance. "Ready?" My dad asked, peeking outside and we both nod.
Shawn starts laughing and I looked at him. "Why you laughing?" I asked obviously confused. "Oh it's nothing" he says and I chuckled.
"Please welcome the groom and bride!! And let's all enjoy their first dance as husband and wife!!" My dad says into the microphone and the music starts playing.
We walked in and everyone clapped for us. I smiled and Shawn starts twerking while we walked to the dance floor and everyone laughed. "Oh my god" I laughed of embarrassment and he smiled.
He puts his arms around my waist as I put my arms around his neck and we smiled looking at each other. "I still can't believe you're finally officially my wife" Shawn says and I smiled putting my head on his shoulder as we slowed dance. "I love you so much" I say, enjoying the dance.
After the song was over we were still dancing. There was another slow song and other people joined us on the dance floor. "Hey. Can I have a turn?" My dad asked and Shawn smiled moving away.
My dad took Shawns place and we slowed dance. "I just wanted to tell you that I am so proud of the women you've become. I may not show it all the time but I really do mean it. I can't believe you aren't my little girl anymore" he cried and I smiled. "Dad, I'll always be your little girl"
"You know how proud your mom would be? She's probably cheering you on right now" he says. "Yeah. I miss her and I really wish she was here but I kinda felt like she was. Even if I couldn't see her it's like I felt her presence here" I say making him smile. I laid my head on his shoulder.
"You know Jaxons high and drunk?" I asked and my dad nodded. "What's gonna happen when they do the speeches. People are gonna see his eyes and everything" I say, looking at Shawn who was dancing with his mom.
"I have no idea. Jeremy said he has a plan and that it's under control" he answered and I nod. After the song was over me and Shawn went and sat at our table. We had our own table. And then there was a long table for the best man, maid of honor, groomsmen, and bridesmaids.
The order was Zach, Amelia, Jeremy, Elena, Jaxon, and Aaliyah.
"This place turned out so beautiful" I say, admiring the entire place.

2 hours later It's been 2 hours. We danced. We talked to everyone. We laughed. And we ate food.
I looked up to see my dad with the microphone. "Before we start with the speeches I just wanted to thank you all for coming here. You have no idea how much that means to Aimee and Shawn. Aimee, I am so thankful to have a daughter like you. You became this strong independent girl and I can't tell you enough how proud I am. You're an amazing mom to two wonderful kids. Thank you for always being you and never giving up even when life gets tough. And Shawn. You always like a son to me and I'm so happy I could finally call you my son in law. Seeing how happy you make Aimee is all I've ever wished for. And I wouldn't want Aimee to fall for anyone else. Now, for the speeches please welcome the first bridesmaid Aaliyah!" My dad says handing Aaliyah the microphone.
