Pregnant At 17

PREGNANT AGAIN?!

Aimee's POV
"I think I'm pregnant. I'm actually pretty sure I'm pregnant" I say and my dad eyes widened. You could tell...he was PISSED. "WHAT?! NOW AIMEE?! AFTER EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED WITH YOUR MOTHER YOU HAVE TO THROW THAT INTO MY FACE?! IT'S BAD ENOUGH YOU HAD ADALYNN! NOW YOU'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY?! YOU JUST HAD ADALYNN ALMOST 4 MONTHS AGO!" He yelled, and my eyes watered. "I'm sorry" I simply say and Shawn grabs my thigh. "Are you sure?" Shawn asked and I nod.

"I mean, I'm late on my period. I was getting morning sickness. I took a pregnancy test the other day and it was positive" I answered and Shawn nods. "Why don't we make an appointment. We could try getting a appointment today to confirm it" he suggested and I nod as he wiped away a tear that was falling down my cheek.

"SCREW THIS!" My dad yelled, stomping out of the room and I sighed. "Aimee, I'm here for you. I'll watch Adalynn for you two while you go to the doctors" Jeremy says and I smiled. "Thank you" I say and he nods smiling. "I'm gonna call the doctors" Shawn says, lifting me up off his lap. He walks out of the room and I sighed throwing myself on the chair.

"Dad doesn't hate you. He's just upset with everything that happened with our mom. He could never hate you not Adalynn. He didn't mean anything he said" Jeremy says and I just nod.

"We have an appointment in a hour so we have to leave soon!" Shawn says, walking into the room and I smiled. "Okay. I don't know how long we'll be gone for but Adalynn eats every 2 hour. She'll let you know when she's hungry. She normally starts fussing. She should be taking a nap around 11:30. You could just stick her pacifier in her mouth and lay her in the bouncer and she usually falls asleep. Or you could rock her and she'll fall asleep on you!" I say and he nods smiling.

"Her diapers her also in her diaper bag" I say and he nods. After I got ready we left for the doctors. Here goes nothing.

At the doctors
"Do you hate me?" I asked, as we walked towards the doctors. "What?" He says, stopping dead in his tracks. "Of course not Aimee. I could never hate you. I love you and always will no matter what" he says and I smiled nodding. "Come here" he says pulling me into a big hug. "I'm sorry" I mumbled. "Sorry for what? You have nothing to be sorry for" he says and I shrugged.

"Let's go" he says, grabbing my hand and walking into the doctor office. "Hey how may I help you" the lady asked at the front desk. "Aimee Williams. I'm here for a a-" I started and the guy came out into the waiting room. "Oh Aimee!!!" He says and I smiled. "You could come with me!" He says and we followed him into a room.

"So you're pregnant again?" He asked and I nod. "I mean I'm pretty sure I am. I took a pregnancy test and it said positive" I say, laying on the bed and he nods. "Lift up your shirt" I say and I do as he told me to. He puts the cold gel on my stomach and starts rubbing the little ultra sound thingy over my stomach.

"How's baby Adalynn?" He smiled as we waited and I smiled. "She's doing good. She's in daycare now. She hasn't started teething yet but we're preparing" I laughed. "That's always fun" he chuckled, wiping off the gel. "So you are not pregnant" he says and sighed of relief.

"It was just a pregnancy scare" he says and I smiled nodding. "Thanks so much" I say, getting up and with that we left. When we got home it was around 1 o'clock. I walked into the house and my dad immediately walks up to us. "Can I talk to you two?" He asked and I sighed. "I guess" I simply say, walking into the living room. Shawn sits down on the couch and pulls me onto his lap.

"I wanna apologize for how I acted earlier. I was just upset and took it out on you and I'm so sorry for that. Adalynn is the best thing that ever came into my life. Besides my kids obviously" he laughed. "But I really do love her and you two" he says, and I smiled getting up and sitting on his lap pulling him into a hug.

"It's okay" I say, pulling away still sitting on his lap. "Oh by the way. I'm not pregnant. It was a pregnancy scare" I say and he sighed with relief. "Oh thank god" he laughed.

"Taking care of 2 babies is a lot of work. I would hate to see you have trouble. You know what I mean?" He says and I nod getting up. "Oh and I have to thank you" he says and I give him a confused look. "What? Why" I asked, sitting on Shawn's lap again. "I was kinda pissed you brought your aunt but I have to thank you. We talked and got through our problems" he says and I smiled.

"I wanna talk to you about something but I wanna wait till all the kids get home from school" my dad says and I nod smiling. Jeremy comes down with Adalynn and walks into the living room. "She just woke up" he says, and I smiled. "You could just lay her down on the play mat. She might want a bottle in a little" I say, and he nods laying her on her play mat. "Can I feed her?!" Aunt tori asked, walking into the room and I chuckled nodding.

A FEW HOURS LATER
A few hours passed and we were just chilling in the living room waiting for the kids to get home from school. Their bus stop was down the road so they were able to walk home together.

It was about 3 pm. Adalynn fell asleep in the bouncer. Oh and Shawn's parents were over too. They texted Aaliyah to tell her to come straight to our house. I wonder what they have to talk to us about. I got distracted from my thoughts as the front door slammed opened and footsteps shuffled across the floor.

"Kids! Come in here for a second!" My dad yelled and the kids came in. Jaxon, Madilyn, Elena and Aaliyah all found a seat. "Hey baby" Jeremy smiled, pulling Aaliyah onto his lap. Yes. They're still dating.

"What's up?" Elena asked and my dad looked at Shawn's parents. "So we've been talking and keeping a secret from everyone. We even talked to your mom about this way before she passed about moving down to Florida. But now we think it's a really good idea. We wanna move to Florida so we all could experience something different and be with everyone including Adalynn. I just think it is for the best. And yes. Shawn's family would move down there as well. We wanted to check with you guys and see what you guys think" he says and everyone jumped up yelling excitedly.

"I guess that's a yes" Shawn's dad laughed. "I don't know how long it'll take but as soon as I find out when we could move or if we even find a house I'll call and let you guys know" my dad says, looking at me and Shawn and we nod. For the rest of the day we just talked about how amazing this will be and how excited we are.
