today, when jenna checked into the gym, there was a sub. this meant that it was a free period as the redheaded substitute teacher had no idea how to control an early flight class.

jenna just sighed, picking her baby blue binder from her backpack to work one some assignment from math class.
her mind already ran with boredom while she looked through formulas and problems. she tucked a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear in attempt to refocus.
from the basketball court, tyler joseph's gaze got lost in the new girl. he smirked as she watched her bite her lip.
"give me a second, josh." tyler said, elbowing his friend josh in his pale arm. josh nodded, looking to where tyler was looking.
josh laughed as he rolled his eyes. of course. josh grabbed tyler by the sleeve of his jersey before he could take off.
"i hope you know she's probably not playing hard to get. believe it or not, mister basketball man, not everyone is gonna fall for you." josh shook his head with a chuckle passing through his lips.
"yeah, that's what you think." tyler said, only this time the look on his face was far more determined.
