by three pm jenna was in her car with tyler in the passenger seat. the second the brunette boys body grazed the seat, he was back asleep.

jenna was fine with that though, he deserved it. jenna blasted her car heater to fight against the frigid outdoor air. she knew it wouldn't be long until the beginning of snow season.

every red light she made sure to examine tyler's face. it fascinated her how someone could look so intimidating as well as the softest creature in the world.

his deep sleepy bags under his eyes and his parted lips made jenna giggle while he released little snores. his usual brown wave of hair was smushed down onto his forehead and freckles covered his nose and cheeks like small paint splatters.

thank goodness the roads were empty for the most part. the blonde swerved left and right lightly, praying her wheels wouldn't get caught in any potholes.

tyler was sleeping so soundly she couldn't bear to wake him up. her jaw clenched every time she thought she'd drive through one.

"screw you, ohio. and your shitty use of tax money." she muttered quietly to herself.

around five minutes later, tyler woke up. he rubbed his tired eyes and looked to the girl in the drivers seat. her beauty left him dazed.

"hey, jenna?" tyler said. his voice was low and scratchy from how long he was asleep and how little he spoke.

"yeah?" jenna looked at him once she hit a red light.

"thank you so much. thank you for staying the night. thank you for everything." tyler said sheepishly. his freckled cheeks warmed up as he looked to the blue eyed girl.

jenna couldn't help but smile. she learned to like tyler. he was sweet and his friends were okay.

"no problem, tyler. we're here." she spoke softly, pulling into his driveway.

his house was nice, exactly what she envisioned. a house sized to fit a family of six which tyler told her about at the waffle house. a perfect white picket fence family. damn.

jenna rushed to tylers side of the car to help i'm out and help carry his belongings to his door. he thanked her quietly while he grabbed his crutches.

"i'll see you tomorrow?" tyler asked. a giddy little smile sat on his face making jenna blush.

"yeah, see you tomorrow." she said, giving him a small wave and heading back to her car.
