jenna sat at home, waiting for tyler to be done with basketball practice. the blonde was beyond nervous. she'd been keeping this from him ever since they went out to the lake.
she paced back and forth through the long photo covered hallway and then up and down the staircase.
her soft hands weaved through her long blonde hair out of frustration and anxiety. she almost jumped out of her skin when there was a knock on the door.
tyler.
she took a deep breath before walking down the stairs and through the hallway to the front door. she was filled with both excitement and nervousness when she saw the warm face.
"hey, jen." he smiled widely, fiddling with the hem of his shirt. jenna have a pathetic smile.
"can we talk?" she asked softly. she dug under her fingernails.
she already knew the guilt that was coming with this. she just had a full conversation with mrs.joseph about how much she changed tyler's life. goddamnit.
"what's up? is everything alright?" tyler asked, setting his rough and calloused hand on top of his girlfriends soft one.
"tyler, i'm so sorry. i should have told you this earlier." she sniffles a little. tyler cocked and eyebrow and squinted his gaze.
"i'm moving, tyler. back to venice. i can't live here along while i'm underaged. i'm still seventeen, i'm one of the youngest in our grade. i'm so sorry, ty." she sobbed through her glass like eyes.
tyler took her in for a deep hug. he just rubbed her back comfortingly while she cried into his white t-shirt. he hushed her cries as well.
"jenna, you act like i won't travel around the world to be with you. i love you." tyler spoke softly. that last sentence caught jenna abruptly.
she looked up to those lovely cocoa eyes with a slight wince, just out of pain.
"i-i love you too, tyler." she sniffled, quickly putting her head back into tyler's warm chest. he held her tighter, if that were possible.
"now, we're not going to let this time waste itself. i'm going to spend every last possible second i can left with you. okay?" tyler's face softened.
"okay." jenna smiled, tears still in her eyes.
