jenna woke up lightheaded. there was not a single doubt in her mind that she was not going to make it to tomorrow morning. she let out a groan.
"morning, princess." tyler chuckled. jenna's cheeks heat up a little bit, she still pouted though.
"shut up, tyler." she mumbled, shoving her head deeper into her pillow. her blonde hair was messy and her head was pounding.
her head felt like josh's kick drum when she tried getting up from bed. tyler was already handing her an advil with a glass of water.
"thanks." she mumbled quietly, giving the boy a soft smile. tyler chuckled a little bit at her hair.
the two sat in silence for a little bit. jenna tried to wrap her mind around what had happened the night before but nothing came up.
"what happened last night?" jenna said groggily. the more she moved, the more it felt like a car was repeatedly running over her skull. tyler laughed nervously.
"well, uh, you got really drunk. you smoked weed." tyler said the last sentence a little quieter, he thought about what happened between josh and memmie.
jenna's blue eyes grew wide. he had to have been kidding. tyler's cringe face had said otherwise.
"i didn't get with anyone, did i?" jenna rushed out quickly.
"no, of course not. i wouldn't have let that happen anyway. yeah, you danced with a few guys but it was nothing." he said softly. jenna nodded.
the silence returned. jenna picked herself up from her white sheets. tyler sat in the seated space connected to jenna's window.
her blue eyes were hazy and her motions were slow. she groaned while she stood up, stretching her body out.
"you're a good dancer, you know?" tyler laughed a little. oh how he wished he were those other guys from last night.
"i don't dance." she shook her head. she ran her hands through her blonde hair, moaning in relief as she got the tight hair tie from her ponytail.
"you certainly did last night." tyler couldn't help but crack a smile as jenna's eyes widened.
"last night was not my night." she mumbled, taking another sip of the water tyler had brought up her her.
tyler's pretty pink lips smushed into a thin line as she said that.
"trust me, it was nobody's night." he said.
