jenna swiped a nude lipstick over her lips. her hair was half up-half down and her yellow dress barely reached the top of her knee.
"you look great, jen." debby smiled through her red lips. jenna gave her a small thank you.
tyler and jenna agreed to homecoming with josh and debby. it was mostly for the sake of josh's mental stability.
jenna's face saddened. debby was so beautiful, her figure was perfect, her face was so perfect jenna felt like hers was warped in all different directions.
"debby, you look great. do you know what time the boys are gonna be here?" jenna asked softly.
"any minute now." debby said, flattening our her red dress.
tyler and josh walked up the long stretching stone steps up to debby's house. the boys did well with keeping themselves civil. it wasn't hard. as pissed as tyler was, josh was still his best friend.
josh left a knock on the large glass doors with the pretty designs in them. very quickly, heeled footsteps were heard.
debby opened the door for the two boys, almost immediately latching her lips on to josh's. tyler shuddered.
jenna followed slower behind debby. she made sure to walk slow in her black high heels. jenna knew she'd fall in them.
tyler watched as she cascade gracefully down the steps. he smiled.
"you look amazing, jen." he said, obviously baffled by her beauty.
jenna blushed as her eyelashes rested on her cheeks as she gave him a smile. tyler could have melted.
jenna looked to josh and debby. debby fixed her hair in one of the mirrors while josh slipped a flask into his suit pocket. shit.
"are you guys ready?!" debby asked, her red painted lips curling into a smile.
"ready as we'll ever be." tyler said, practically forcing the sigh to not leave his lips.
josh took debby's hand in his and followed her out to his truck while jenna helped tyler down the stairs. thank god that cast was gonna be off his leg soon.
the drive began and jenna mentally prepared herself for the shit show that was ready to commence.
