today jenna skipped her usual early gym class. instead, she cried in the parking lot in her small white car. not the most pleasant of things to do, but at least the tears were gone.
when she stepped out of the driver's seat, her eyes were clouded with pale red and her face was completely stripped away from any makeup that was painted on her face earlier this morning.
she checked her appearance in the mirror one more time before she headed up to her math class. her white shoes stomped under her while the sound of other students filled her ears.
one voice stood out from the rest. "hey! please!" the voice yelled out among the other hundred in the hallway. he still didn't have ner name, making it harder for him to point her out.
jenna turned around slowly, her blue eyes rolling to the back of her head. today, the boy wore a white hoodie and a pair of light blue jeans. he looked down to the same checkered vans before talking to the girl.
"what now, joseph?" she rolled her eyes even harder, if that were even possible. the frustration just brought the hot tears back.
"oh my god. are you okay?" he reached a hand out to jenna. she looked to his hand and then to his eyes. the second scariest eye contact she's made this morning.
"get your hands off me." she swatted his hand with furrowed eyebrows. tyler was just as dumbfounded as she.
"please, I just want to-" tyler was quickly cut off.
"leave me alone, tyler." she croaked out, quickly moving into the math classroom, closing the door behind her.
