tyler pulled up to the large apartments. he straightened out his white button up and smoothed his black jeans. it was just like when him and jenna were in high school.
tyler loved impressing jenna, he loved making her smile, he made her feel lovely. he knocked on the door with just enough force for the girls to hear him.
"coming!" a sing song voice called from the other side of the door. he could already see her vibrant white smile and shining sea eyes. he was still blown away when he opened the door.
she smiled down at the twenty one pilots shirt she was wearing, tyler swore that added a few extra years in his life span.
"you look gorgeous." he said with a sheepish smile. the past year had been busy for the two. tyler was always touring with josh and memmie was always on business trips which left jenna at work or home alone.
the couple didn't see each other much but,the time away from tyler made it so much more enjoyable when she was blue to see him.
"you look pretty damn handsome yourself." she said with a small giggle.
from the second room came memmie. she wore light jean shorts like jenna but her shirt was different. it read "i believe in josh dun", jenna couldn't help but stifle a laugh back.
"where's, j?" the brunette girl asked, pulling on her tennis shoes.
"he's gonna meet us there. he had to fix a few drum takes cause he kept bumping into the mic." tyler laughed a little. memmie giggled, shaking her head in playful disapproval.
soon enough, tyler had the girls settled in the car. jenna rode passenger while memmie sat in the back seat.
"m, if the cops pull us over they're gonna think we let a kid in the front seat." jenna said, laughing her ass off after memmie went on a tangent about sitting in the back.
"oh shut the fuck up." she couldn't help but laugh before kicking jenna's seat.
the drive was short for southern california traffic. they drove from venice into a small city not too far away.
the city fair was happening and there was absolutely no way jenna and memmie would miss it this year. they made it tradition to come every year since their friendship rekindled. now, the boys were an add to the tradition.
"here we are." tyler smiled, parking his car on the fairgrounds dirt lot.
the scent of funnel cakes and fried foods filled jenna's nostrils. yes, she was a chef for a well off restaurant in venice but who could pass up carnival food?
it didn't take more than five minutes for josh to need up with the trio. they picked up their tickets and were soon admitted into the fair.
