jenna hazily walked down the stairs to the couch. she tried to push the sleep out of her eyes but she knew she could only keep them open for a few more short moments.
tyler sat on the couch, writing in a notebook he'd grabbed from his backpack. the binding was a little bent and writing filled the whole back cover of the notebook.
tyler's attention was quickly put to jenna. he closed the notebook and gave the blonde a small smile.
"how are you feeling?" tyler asked softly.
now, jenna didn't have any leftover makeup spotted on her face and she smelled of pineapple and hibiscus. her blonde hair was lazily thrown into a ponytail, it looked much brighter than it had prior.
"much better. m'tired though." she mumbled. tyler only nodded. the boy picked himself up from the couch and walked jenna to her room.
tyler closed up jenna's white curtains, began to run the heater, and helped her into her bed.
her baby blue eyes twinkled at tyler. "thank you so much. you know you don't have to do any of this for me."
jenna's voice was drowsy and weak. tyler hushed her a little bit.
"jenna, you're my friend. i would do anything for you. just like how i would do anything for memmie or josh. you guys are my family." tyler smiled.
jenna nodded contently. she let tyler tuck her into her white sheets which made her giggle a little. she thought it was cute how he treated her like a princess.
"goodnight." tyler said, leaning up against the doorframe. his warm brown eyes smiled at the girl.
"wait, tyler?" jenna's head perked up a little from the covers. tyler's plump lips upturned to a small smile.
"yeah." he responded. his voice was so serene and calming. tyler himself was charming to say the least.
"can you stay with me tonight?" jenna asked, almost embarrassed. tyler's cheeks heated up while he walked over to jenna's bed.
"of course. goodnight, jen."
