jenna woke up to memmie sitting on the couch, sipping on her coffee while she giggled at an episode of project runway.

"you're back." jenna smiled, rubbing her groggy eyes full of sleep.

"thank god. let me tell you, new york was quite the trip." memmie let a smile past her makeup-less face.

memmie just finished a fashion trip, visiting companies and investing in stocks. she was a businesswoman at best and quickly took over the beauty industry.

"i'm sure your back hurts from carrying the whole fashion world." jenna laughed, making her way to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. the golden skinned girl giggled.

the two had lived together since memmie got back from mexico. she was happy to not find herself hanging out with the wrong people, she stayed with abuelo and  abuela most of her time.

she lost close to all contact with josh, as did jenna with tyler.

jenna took a seat on her couch, summer finally hit, thank god. yes she was only doing culinary school but it became a pain. jenna swore she would have gotten arthritis if she were there a day longer.

"i missed you, so much, you don't even know." memmie smiled. "new york really could've been fun with you." she gave jenna a dramatic puppy eyed pout.

"you know i wanted to, i kinda had to graduate though. how about we walk the pier and pick up some ice cream?" jenna smiled, tucking a piece of blonde hair behind her ear.

"nut worthy." memmie practically moaned at the thought of the little hole in the wall ice cream shop.

the two were done getting ready by around twelve. jenna finished by tucking her baby pink shirt into a pair of light blue shorts. she adjusted her ponytail one more time before heading out to the living room with memmie.

memmie straightened out her tight fitting dress before slipping on a pair of sandals. the girls grabbed their wallets and headed out of the house.
