Both the broke boys stayed like that for a while, enjoying each other's embrace, enjoying the warmth each one was giving the other
Both Jimin and Hoseok were so sad inside. And though neither of them wanted to admit it. They needed each other. Maybe not to talk to. But for just some type of feeling, the feeling of feeling the same thing
And though they didn't want to admit it. They both got to face facts. Even if they weren't on the same page as each other. They had more things in common then they thought they did
Hoseok wanted his real dad back. Not the dad that works 24/7 and blows off birthdays and totally ignores his own kids. He wanted his sweet mom back, not the mom that puts up with her husbands bullshit, not the mom who acts like a robot whenever she's around someone
All he wanted from his own dad was to be accepted, maybe even be given a pat on the back every once in a while. But he never did. And now. After years of getting rejected. Hoseok decided to take matters into his own hands. Becoming clingy and caring towards everyone he had met. Just wanting to get accepted by them
And Yoongi? He was the first and only person to accept Hoseok with open arms. Accept the hyper, clingy, cute 10-year-old
Needless to say. Yoongi didn't care about how Hoseok acted. He was just such a genuinely nice person. And at the time. That was all that mattered
The only other person (besides his friends) that Hoseok genuinely cared about. Was his sister. The only one who hasn't changed. She was the only one who stood by him when his parents totally changed. And that's why he admires her so much
Jimin as well wanted his dad back. He wanted his loving father back in his heart. Back to his home. As well as his caring mother back in his arms. Life is really such a bitch. And Jimin can't help but find it so cruel. So, so cruel. He hated life. More then he hated himself
And that was saying a lot
Hoseok has his head on Jimins shoulder. The rain still pouring as it fell onto the shelter that they were sitting under. The noise bringing some kind of calmness to both broken males
"Jimin..." Hoseok starts, lifting his head up, "Please, don't ever repeat this to anyone, no one ever" Hoseok said
Jimin nodded, turning towards him
"I like Yoongi, and I would really appreciate if you stepped down from him. Just until his feelings for you change..."
And at that very moment. Jimin felt his whole world crash. The warm feelings of love now gone
He tilted his head. Acting like he was totally clueless
"Jimin, Yoongi likes you. It's obvious. So please. Stop being you" Hoseok repeats. This time, venom laced with his harsh words
