Chapter 9~Sparks Fly

{Dianne's POV}

He took me across the patio and past the fire. To the side of the chairs there was a staircase. It was well hidden, I didn't see it before.

Anyway Joe led me down the stairs and down this path that led to this pool. This big magical, breathtaking pool.

D-"I never knew a pool could do this to me, I'm speechless"
Joe laughed.
D-"You grew up here"
J-"Well two years ago it was a rough, overgrown piece of land that we owned but when my parents died I needed something to do so I renovated it to create this."
D-"Who knows about this"
J-"Literally only me and you"
D-"Wait Zoe doesn't even know"
J-"No she doesn't, she never really stays here too long"
D-"Well it's amazing, you've got a great eye for design and I like a handy man"
J-"Oh you do know"
D-"Yep"
I ran and Joe chased me. I jumped into the pool and he followed. We came up from the water and shared a short kiss before we both laughed. Our foreheads were touching as the day was drawing to a close. I hung onto Joe as he move round the pool he stopped in the centre.
J-"Dianne"
D-"Yeah Joseph"
J-"Will you be my girlfriend"
D-"Yes, I mean I thought you'd never ask"
We laughed before we shared another kiss. But this one was more meaningful, this was the first time we were kissing as boyfriend and girlfriend. The first time I could kiss or hug Joe whenever I wanted without it being weird. The first time I had Joe all to myself. The first time I could call Joe mine. I think I might be in love.

{Joe's POV}

I just asked Dianne to be my girlfriend and she said yes. Oh I love her so much. Wait a minute what. Omg I love her. Joseph what are you doing? I can't believe it me Joseph Graham Sugg has fallen in love. Wow she really had made my life so much better. I was snapped out of my trance when I was splashed with a flood of water.
D-"Come on stop daydreaming"
I laughed running up to her. I lifted her out of the water and she screamed. I put her back in and tickled her. We were having so much fun and laughing so much that we didn't realize the time; It was 12:30am and we had school today but I didn't really want to go and I was pretty sure Dianne didn't want to go to school either so I didn't tell her. We continued to have fun until about 1:30am when Dianne started to yawn. She insisted she wasn't tired but she clearly was. We got out of the pool and I wrapped her in a towel then picked her up, one arm under her legs and the other supporting her back. She was so tired she started to fall asleep in my arms. I didn't mind though, she was so cute when she slept. I carried her upstairs and to my bed. I tucked her in then turned around to go sleep in the spare room. I felt a warm hand grab hold of mine.
D-"Joe please stay"
J-"Are you sure?"
D-"Don't be silly of course I am"
I smirked and got into the bed next to her. She rested her head on my chest as she cuddled up to me. I kissed the top of her forehead then fell into a long slumber.
When I woke up I felt a weight on my chest then I remembered the beautiful redhead that slept next to me, that I now got to call my girlfriend. Omg she's my girlfriend. Omg. I think I might just be the happiest person alive.
Dianne's eyes slowly fluttered opened she looked up at me and smiled. Wow, she was so beautiful.
J-"How the hell do you manage to look so gorgeous all the time even on a morning"
She smiled and tucked her head into my chest tighter than before.
D-"Wait don't we have school"
J-"Yep"
D-"Please tell me we're not going"
J-"Of course we aren't going"
D-"Phew"
I laughed. We stayed lying there for a couple of minutes then the warm touch of her skin left mine as she got up.
J-"Nooooo where are you going"
D-"I'm getting up we can't stay in bed all day"
J-"Why not"
D-"ugh come on Joe get up"
J-"I'll only get up if you give me a hug and a kiss"
D-"I'm not gonna give you one until you get up so"
J-"Fine let's meet in the middle"
I get out of the bed and slowly walk towards Dianne. I take her into my arms, I press my lips against hers passionately. I push her up against the wall and start to kiss down her neck she moans a little before pushing me aside and running downstairs. I chase after her and she laughs as she runs away. Dianne catapults herself on to the sofa, I jump onto it after her. I grab hold of her and bring her onto my lap she is laughing so much which was only about to increase as I began to tickle her.
D-"Joe stop"
I carried on as she continued to laugh.
D-"Joe I'm gonna pee with laughter" She said with urgency but I still continued . Her laugh is so infectious I couldn't help but laugh with her.
D-"Joe my stomachs hurting, I'm gonna die"
I stop tickling her and she slowly stops laughing.
J-"We can't be having that now can we, I don't know what I'd do if you died. I'd have no one to tickle."
Dianne laughs, she is laid down on the sofa and I'm laid on top of her. She puts her hands round my neck and pulls my face closer to her. She closes the gap between our lips. Before I know it she's running off again.
J-"Arggg where are you going now"
D-"To the kitchen, I'm starving" she shouts.
J-"I'm pretty hungry too you know"
D-"Well you better get your bum out here then"
J-"My stomach is grumbling and making funny noises."
D-"Maybe you should've got out of bed quicker then"
J-"Hahaha very funny"
Dianne smiled back sarcastically.
J-"What do you want to eat"
D-"No I'll cook it, it's the least I can do after you let me stay here"
J-"No you've been a star helping me with all my sh*t"
D-"Fine we'll cook it together"
J-"Perfect"
I said pecking her lips as I walked past her to go and open the fridge.
J-"Right what do we have in here ... not much I see"
Dianne and I laughed as we slowly realized I had barely any food in the house.
J-"I probably need to go shopping at some point today"
D-"I could come with you to make it more enjoyable"
J-"I would love that"
We quickly cooked something up with what was left in the cupboards and ate it, then we went upstairs to get ready to go shopping.
J-"I'll drive"
D-"Ok do you have a car"
J-"Yeah otherwise I wouldn't offer"
D-"Oh of course that was a stupid question"
J-"No it wasn't"
D-"Yeah it was"
J-"Ok maybe it was a little bit but I can see where your coming from"
Dianne laughed whilst looking through her clothes then said.
D-"Thanks for trying to cover up my stupidity for me but sometimes I really am just being stupid"
J-"Well it is the morning so I'll let you off"
After we had finished giggling we shared a long, deep and satisfying kiss.
J-"Dianne I love you"
I knew she didn't love me back, but i couldn't resist. I leaned in a little closer, our foreheads touching. Dear god, I couldn't fight against the thoughts that were going through my head. Even her smell was flooding my senses now.
D-"Joe I love you too"

{Dianne's POV}

I hesitantly looked up at him. The emotions I saw there made me weak; lust and desire. Before I could think about it further, he pulled me towards him and covered my mouth with his in a passionate kiss. As our lips crushed together, I felt like i was walking on air. It was magic, the way his lips connected with mine. His touch was so warm and gentle and the caress of his lips softer than I could have imagined and I opened my mouth with a low moan. He picked me up and laid me down in the bed. I smashed my lips against him, he leaned back. I started to unbutton his shirt and he turned his head towards me.
J-"Are you sure?"
D-"I've never been more sure in my life Joe"
I smirked and continued until I got to his jeans. My head was filled of crazy thoughts. Half of them horny teen thoughts while the others were like, "What the hell am I doing?" Before I could even think, we were naked. He kissed me and my heart skipped a few beats. My stomach fluttered at the thought of his touch. Joe's hands pinned me to the bed and my toes curled. He left every part of me untouched and then, as quick as we started, it was over. He kissed my lips and we laid next to each other panting until we caught our breaths.
D-"We were supposed to be going to the supermarket"
J-"Oh yeah I forgot about that"
I laughed at him. He turned to me and smiled. His warm hand ran down my body and I shivered. Joe pulled me close to him and kissed my forehead.
D-"Seriously we need to go to the shops unless you want to starve."
J-"Fine but one more kiss."
I turn over so I'm facing him and I kiss him gently. Not innocently, like a tease because I knew it would annoy him. I stood up and started to walk towards the door so I could go find some clothes to wear.
J-"Where are you going you have no clothes with you"
D-"You do realize you showed me where the wardrobe that had all of Zoe's old stuff in or stuff she'd never worn before, yesterday"
J-"Oh why did I do that"
D-"Because you were being nice but you've clearly had a change of heart."
J-"Hey"
D-"Well get some clothes on so we can go shopping then"
J-"Urgg Fine"
D-"The quicker we go the quicker we can come back"
J-"I never thought of it like that"
Joe started to hurry up. We were soon out of the door in Joe's car heading to the shops.
