{Joe's POV}

The school day was over but thankfully Dianne was coming round to my house because I don't think I could leave her side.
My house felt empty this morning because Dianne had freed me of all my sad and dark thoughts. I had room to feel other emotions like happy, excited, nervous or even scared. That girl is perfect, she really is.

We walked out of school, down the main road and turned onto one of the country lanes which is where my house was. We walked close together hands brushing past each other. Our hands slipped into one another and our fingers intertwined. I loved holding her hand, I felt safe and it made me feel that I can keep her safe which is what I wanted more than anything. As we turned the corner we got closer to my house so I let go of her hand so I could unlock the gate. She hadn't seen the house yet as the house is surrounded by tall, green hedges for privacy. As I unlocked the gate to let us both in her face dropped.

She looked shocked but amazed.
D-"It's like something out of a Disney movie"
I laughed not knowing what to say back.
D-"It looks so peaceful and magical it's perfect"
J-"Thanks but it's a little big"
D-"Yeah but your not on your own"
I just hit me that she didn't know about my parents or any of my family to be honest.
J-"Ok I need to tell you something but let's get inside"
D-"Ok"
We both went inside. As we step in Dianne's jaw dropped again.
D-"I didn't think it could get anymore beautiful"
We walked into the living where Dianne's jaw dropped again.
J-"I suppose I take it for granted sometimes because I've lived here all my life"
D-"What was it growing up in a house like this"
J-"It was amazing I loved my childhood"
D-"I bet you did, you wanted to tell me something didn't you" Dianne took a seat on the sofa and I remained standing.
J-"Yeah, I'm going to have to say this quickly because I don't want to cry"
D-"It's ok"
J-"Ok here goes, urm both of my parents passed away two years ago."
D-"I'm so sorry"
Dianne stood up to try and comfort me but I stepped back so I could finish what I was saying before I cried.
J-"They crashed because they were coming to pick me up from a party. They died Dianne. They died because of me."
I broke down into tears. She wrapped her arms around me. I hugged her back. How was she so strong?

{Dianne's POV}

He blamed himself. It's not his fault but he blamed himself.
D-"They didn't die because of you Joe"
J-"Yes they did"
D-"No they didn't"
J-"They were coming to pick me up from a party"
D-"So that doesn't mean they died because of you. They were in a car crash right"
J-"Yeah"
D-"Well were you driving the car they were in or the car that they crashed with"
J-"No"
D-"Then it's not your fault"
J-"But they wouldn't of been there if it wasn't for me wanting to be picked up from the party"
D-"They might not of been but they would of been on another day."
J-"How do you know"
D-"Because tough, complicated and hard things like that are fate. They're fate."
J-"So my parents dying was fate"
D-"Yes, their story had come to an end unfortunately, no one gets to choose the bad things that happens to them in life"
J-"Why are you always right"
D-"I guess I've just been through some tough sh*t like you"
J-"Well I'm always here"
D-"Nows not the time to comfort and talk about me it's about you"
He looked at me. Eye to eye. It was an intense look. He pulled me closer to him and smashed his lips into mine. He picked me up and walked to the sofa. He sat down bringing me with him. I straddled him as we enjoyed an intense, passionate kiss. After a while, we cuddled up on the sofa and watched some Netflix.
J-"Do you wanna order a takeaway or something"
D-"Yeah sure what do you want"
J-"Urmm"
D-"What about pizza"
J-"yeah I'll just have pepperoni"
D-"Okay I'm going to get Hawaiian"
J-"You like pineapple on pizza"
D-"Hey, don't diss it until you try it"
J-"Fine, but it won't taste nice"
D-"I think you'll be pleasantly surprised Joseph Graham Sugg"
He rolled his eyes which made me laugh. After Joe had ordered our takeaway we cuddled up on the sofa and continued to watch Netflix. My phone pinged I had gotten a text from Emily.
Text messages
Em-Hey r u ok? I didn't see you after school.
D-Yeah I'm at Joe's.
Em-Oh so u guys really are getting along.
D-What it's not like that.
Em-U sure because what Joe said at break today seems like u guys are more than just friends.

I looked at Joe and smiled. He saw and smiled back.
J-"What are you smiling at?"
D-"Nothing" Joe raised his eyebrows.
D-"It's Emily she just reminded me what you said at break"
Joe smiled whilst he replayed the events in his head.
J-"I meant every word I said and I know I've already told you that but I thought I'd tell you again"
D-"And I mean everything I'm about to tell you."
J-"Okay" he said as he leaned in and kissed me quickly.
D-"Joe from the moment I've met you I've had a smile on my face. Well maybe not the moment I met you but from the moment I got to know you." Joe laughed. "You're the only person I think about all the time. You're the only person that gives me butterflies when I speak to you but when I do it's so natural and comforting. Your the only person I want to spend every second of every day with. Joe your the only one I want to be with." He stood up and walked towards me and pulled me into a long, meaningful kiss. We pulled apart foreheads still touching and joe whispered. "Come on I want to show you something." He led me outside to a bit of the garden that looked out onto the rest. You could see the sun going behind the trees.

As the night drew closer stars started to appear in the sky. They glistened down upon us both. Joe wrapped his arms around me as I snuggled up to him. We stood there looking over his stunning, large garden. All of a sudden the noise of a car pulling up in the drive way filled our ears.
J-"That must be the takeaway"
D-"Yeah lets go see"
We got back into his house and we heard rattling and what sounded like footsteps.
D-"I don't think that's the take away man"
J-"No I don't either"
I grabbed onto Joes arm as he led us towards the noise. Joe slowly opened the door. He kept checking if I was ok. I loved the fact that he was so protective. The door was fully opened and we went in. The noise had stopped at this point. Ok I might be a little scared, fine I was very scared. What the hell was happening? Who the hell was that?
