Chapter 45~Calm before the storm

{Dianne's POV}

Tuesday went like most weekdays do slow. It's funny how at the time everything seems to be going very slow but when you look back it went like a flash. I guess the sayings true time really does fly. It's Wednesday and so far Amelia and Ambar have tripped me up, thrown paper at my head, laughed at me, called me names and basically have been absolute b*tches to me. I feel like I'm close to my breaking point and the littlest of things now could just put me over the edge. Joe and I were walking down the corridor when we saw the A's and Evie laughing at a video. Ambar looked up and said "Oh look it's mummy and daddy" Sh*t they have seen Zoe's video.

Amelia-"I feel sorry for Macklynn and Eponiné"
Ambar-"Why's that"
Amelia-"Because their mum is Dianne"
Ambar-"I bet she's a crap mum"

{Joe's POV}

J-"Don't listen to them, you're an amazing mum"
D-"I know I'm fine"
J-"You sure because-"
D-"JOE I said I'm fine, leave me alone"
J-"..."

Dianne walked off her head hanging low. She normally likes it when I tell her that the A's are wrong. Maybe they really are getting to her now. Bullying is almost like a form of torture it's long and extremely painful. It's not like we can tell the teachers either because the A's bully everyone so the teachers see that as there normal behaviour there not exactly singling one student out and picking on them, they're picking on everyone. I started searching for Dianne around the school, everyone was in a lesson so I shouldn't bump into anyone. Boy was I wrong. None other than the A's minion Vanessa was walking my way. I tried to walk quickly as possible past her. Vanessa grabbed my arm to stop me.

V-"I'm sorry, if you're looking for Dianne I think she ran to the dance studio she seemed pretty upset and again I'm sorry"
J-"Urm thank you, urm thanks"

I ran off to find Dianne. That was strange but then again looking back Vanessa has never actually done anything wrong she was just associated with the wrong people. But still, that was strange. I ran to the dance studio and couldn't see Dianne through the window. I walked in and saw her against the wall in a ball. I rushed over to her side and put my arms around her. She cried into my chest "it's okay" I said softly. "I'm sorry," Dianne said back barely audible. "No, why are you sorry" "Because I pushed you away earlier" "Oh don't worry about it I just wanted to make sure you were ok" "Thank you" "It's okay... I love you" "I love you more" "Not possible" I made Dianne smile and I was happy with that. I wish I could take away all her problems but I can't some battles you must face on your own but she can bet I'll be cheering her on every step of the way. Thankfully we had music today which always cheered Dianne up. Her face lit up when we got to music. Today we had to work on music by ourselves or in a small group. Dianne and I went into one of the studios.

J-"I know a song I can sing you"
D-"Okay"

I sat down at the piano and Dianne leaned up against it, looking at me.

Dianne's bright and beautiful smile stared at me. I looked at her with awe as always. I love her so much.

J-"I love you D"
D-"I love you more"
J-"Not possible"

I gently held Dianne's head as I brought her closer. Together, we both leaned in. Our lips and hearts were in sync. As we slowly pulled apart our foreheads rested against each other.
