Chapter 21~Interruptions

{Dianne's POV}

It was Saturday morning and Joe and I were woken up by the noise of tape being drawn and things being knocked over.

J-"Where's that noise coming from"
D-"I don't know"
J-"Let's go"

We went to the girls' room to find them putting their things into boxes.

J-"What are you doing"
E-"We're packing"
D-"Why"
M-"To move to Joe's"
J-"Wow you're eager"
D-"Why do you want to leave so soon"
M-"Because it's the weekend so we have time and in the week we won't have time"
E-"Please can we move today"
E & M-"Please, pretty please"
J-"Well yeah but your rooms won't be ready"
M-"That's fine we can sleep on the sofa"
J-"No I'll sort something out but you'll probably have to share until I can get your rooms sorted"
M-"Ok that's fine"

I couldn't wait to move and be like a real family. Joe and I left the girls to it and went back to our room as they continued to pack.

D-"I can't believe we're actually going to move in today"
J-"I know we were only talking about it yesterday like literally"
We both laughed.
D-"I'm so excited"
J-"Me too"

Joe kissed down my neck and onto my shoulder. I turned around to face Joe. He pushed me back onto the bed not breaking the kissed.

E-"MUMMY"
D-"Oh god"
J-"I guess we better get used to that happening"
D-"Yep I should go see what she wants"
J-"I'll go cook breakfast then"
D-"Ok"

Joe gave me another kiss before he left. Ugh, Joe was right we're going to have to get used to that happening more often now. I went into the girls' room to see what's wrong.

D-"What's wrong"
E-"My suitcase won't close"
D-"Ok, Macklynn go downstairs Joe is making breakfast and Eponiné I'll help you close your suitcase"
M-"Ok"
E-"How are we going to get it closed"
D-"How about if I sit on it and you do the zip up"
E-"Ok"

We finally got Eponiné's suitcase closed and went downstairs.

D-"Whatever you're cooking it smells good"
J-"I'm cooking pancakes"
E-"Please can I have some"
J-"Yeah I'm making them for all of us and just because you asked so nicely you might get an extra one"
E-"Yessss"
M-"Please may I have some"
J-"You can have an extra one as well"
M-"Yesss"
D-"Please-"

Before I could finish my sentence Joe kissed me and said softly "Of course you can have an extra one" I smiled.

J-"So what do you want your rooms to look like"
M-"I don't know"
E-"Can mine be woodland and forest themed"
J-"Urmm yeah sure"
D-"How are you going to pull that theme off"
J-"I don't know but I'll figure something out"
D-"You always do"
Joe smirked at me.
J-"What about you Macklynn"
M-"Urmm I don't really know"
J-"Well how would you describe yourself"
M-"Urmm I don't know and it's not a style"
D-"Well I'd say your style is quite bohemian"
J-"Ok I've got it"
D-"Have you guys finished packing"
M-"Nope nowhere near"
D-"Well get going then... Eponiné where are you going"
E-"To finish packing"
D-"Even after that big suitcase"
E-"Yep"
Eponiné and Macklynn ran upstairs.
D-"Those girls"
J-"They're characters"
D-"Yep... how are you going to pull off Macklynn's bohemian style it's not really much to go on"
J-"I don't really know but I'll figure something out I guess I'll also just have to go off her personality"
D-"Yeah ok"
J-"Once you're done with that you might want to go and pack"
D-"What am I supposed to pack"
J-"Clothes"
D-"Yes but I can just wear yours"
J-"You can but mine aren't particularly stylish"
D-"Fine"

Joe laughed as I hopped off my chair and strolled upstairs. I packed and put on some clothes that I could move in.

Woah I'm moving house I think that's only just sunk in.

J-"Let's put the stuff in the car"
E-"Ok"
M-"Joe Eponiné's bags are too heavy"
J-"I'm coming"

Joe ran up the stairs to help them. Joe picked up Eponiné and her bags and brought them to the car.

E-"Thanks Joey"
J-"Where's Macklynn"
M-"I'm here"
J-"Where's Dianne"
D-"I'm also here"
J-"Right are we ready to go"
E-"Think so"
D-"Well we're keeping this house so if you forget anything we can easily come back and get it"
M-"Ok"
D-"Well then let's go"
We set off to Joe's house.
E-"I'm so excited"
M-"Me too"
D-"Good"
I smiled and Joe and he smirked back.

We pulled up in the driveway.

D-"This is now home"
M-"Yep come on Eps let's go"

Macklynn and Eponiné jumped out of the car got their stuff out of the boot and ran to the front door. I turned to Joe and looked at him right in the eyes.
Without hesitation, we both slowly moved closer. His slim, warm lips pressed against mine. As soon as our lips touched the world melted around us. I can't believe I was living with this guy, the man of my dreams who I knew I'd live forever. This was the start of a new chapter for both of us but I can't wait, it's going to be a good one.

{Joe's POV}

Dianne and I slowly got out of the car and grabbed the bags we met the girls at the door and I unlocked it to let us all in.

M-"You guys took your time"
Dianne and I looked at each other and laughed.
J-"You all should unpack"
M-"Where are our rooms because I proper ones aren't ready yet"
J-"Oh yes, follow me"
I took them upstairs.
J-"It's Zoe's old room when she was really little"
M-"Cool"

D-" Why are there two beds you only have one sister"
J-"Oh urm one of Zoe's friend's parents got sick so she had to come and stay with us for a while and when she left Zoe was too old for this room so she moved rooms"
M-"It's a nice room to say it's a make-do room"
D-"Yeah"
J-"So you girls unpack and Dianne and I will go unpack all of her stuff"

We walked to my room and started to put all of Dianne's stuff away.

D-"Why don't we finish what we started earlier"

I walked towards Dianne. Her eyes were gazing into mine, I stand back for a second to look at her captivating eyes. The green in them clawing their way through over the brown. Mixed with the softness of her features and her tanned skin was enough to engulf you in warmth to make you feel at home. I brushed my hand across her cheek and rubbed it with my thumb I slowly pulled her into a long passionate kiss. When she kissed back my senses disappeared I could only feel her touch. I couldn't hear, see or smell anything around me. It was just us. Before we could go any further the girls called us again.

E-"MUMMY... JOEY"
D-" Were coming"

I looked into Dianne's eyes we were both satisfied with the kiss but frustrated it couldn't go any further. Like I said earlier we would have to get used to this happening more often.
