Chapter 24~Loving you

{Joe's POV}

We arrived at Toff's house for the party. When we went in everyone had already arrived: Toff (obviously), Emily, Maddie, Jack, Conor, Byron, Oli and Mikey. The boys gave me a funny look. I mean who can blame them they hadn't seen me at a party in 2 years. I used to have an invite to every party and I'd have to choose which ones I'd want to attend but after my parents died I kept turning down invites so eventually everyone stopped asking. I felt a little uneasy so I gripped onto Dianne for comfort.

D-"Are you ok"
J-"Please don't leave my side"
D-"I'm not going to don't worry"

D=Dianne, J=Joe, T=Toff, M=Maddie, E=Emily, Ja=Jack, Mi=Mikey, C=Conor, B=Byron, O=Oli

T-"Argg everyone's here"
M-"What do you want to do"
T-"Yeah this isn't going be a crazy party because my parents would be mortified and a lot of the furniture is white"
J-"What about truth or dare"
C-"Ooo Yeah"
E-"Fine truth or dare it is"
Mi-"We should do it in our registration partners and Oli and I will just go together seen as they aren't here"
T-"Good idea"

We all sat in a circle and I really wasn't leaving Dianne's side. I was nearly sitting on her I was sat so close, Dianne noticed I was getting nervous so she whispered "Its okay I promise I won't go anywhere we'll just have to pick truth"
I nodded and kissed her forehead. Thank god we weren't picking dare, these people could have us doing all sorts.

Mi-"Toff and Jack truth or dare"
They looked at each other and gave each other a confirming nod they said in sync "dare"
C-"I've got a good one"
Oli-"Go on then"
C-"Jack has to kiss Toff"
T-"Eww no absolutely not"
Ja-"Come on"
T-"No"
Ja-"Not even on the cheek"
Toff was being very resistant and it was making everyone laugh.
Mi-"Aww Jack's getting rejected by the girls"
Ja-"Shut up Mikey"
C-" Says you"
Mi-"God I open my mouth and I get bloody screamed at"
We all laughed.
B-"To be fair the only guy who is doing well when it comes to women is Joe"

Everyone looked at us. I looked down at Dianne and kissed her. I had my arm tightly wrapped around her shoulders and I wasn't letting her go. She rested her head against my chest which weirdly comforted me.

T-"You know what fine"
Ja-"Really where"
T-"Don't be cheeky on the cheek"

As Jack kissed Toff's cheek she squealed and scrunched up her face. We all couldn't stop laughing.

T-"Who's next"
O-"Me and Mikey"
Ja-"Truth or dare"
Mi-"Dare"
T-"Ok there's some ghost peppers in my kitchen I want you both to eat one"
O-"Mikey why did you pick dare you idiot"
Mi-"Don't be a wuss"
O-"Fine"
T-"When I say eat I mean swallow as well"

The only people in the room who weren't laughing were Mikey and Oli who knew this was going to be extremely spicy. They came back into the room with a ghost peppers in their hands. This was going to be good. I saw Jack and Toff run to the kitchen and hide the milk. They are cruel human beings but I wasn't going to say anything. Dianne noticed too and she looks a little worried but I assured her they would be fine. Oli and Mikey ate the peppers and there faces instantly went red.

C-"Apparently someone once died from eating one of these"
Mi-"Conor please tell me your joking"
Ja-"No he's telling the truth man"
Mi-"Oh no"
Mikey looked really worried so I thought I'd speak up.
J-"Don't worry they are joking Mikey you'll be fine"
Mi-"Are you sure"
J-"Yeah"
B-"Oli are you ok"

Oli had gone so red it looked like steam was about to come off him any minute.
In a high pitched tone, Oli managed to mutter the words.
