We drove to the super center where we would replace everything that wad broken, damaged, or completely destroyed downstairs. Microwave, television, plates and bowls, glasses, curtain rods, everything that was no longer salvageable. It was an expensive shopping trip for us. Of course, I helped Mali cover some of the expenses; after all, I practically lived there too from time to time.

"How do you think Callum is doing?" Mali and I were standing at the checkout line waiting for the cashier. She turned to face me. "Since after everything that happened yesterday, he seems a little bit off. I'm trying to figure out what's going on, but he's not really talking to me right now." Mali nodded her head back, "He does that a lot."

The entire checkout process took no more than ten minutes, because there was a line ahead of us. I honestly did not like what I was seeing with Calum. I was really worried about him, because when things happen and he gets stressed out, he doesn't really talk about anything and hides what's going on inside.

Mali and I drove back home with everything we had replaced in the vehicle. I brought in the dishware, she brought in the curtains and some other stuff. I left the microwave and TV in the vehicle for Calum to grab. Calum, who I was expecting to still be asleep, was not. He seemed to not even be home. "Calum!" Mali yelled from the front door "Cal!" No response.

I called his phone, which went straight to voicemail. I wonder where he could be. "Did he say he was leaving earlier?" Mali asked me. "No, he didn't." I shook my head no. We unloaded everything and put stuff where they needed to be. Practically like new. It was getting late, so I decided to go back to my place.

"I'm gonna get going now, let me know if Calum shows up?" I asked Mali. At this point I was getting worried. It was late, Calum was gone, and it was dark. I was afraid something happened to him; although I knew and trusted Calum could handle himself. I made my way out, and went home for the night. Shit I haven't eaten all day. I grabbed a protein drink from the fridge, completely skipping actual food. I went upstairs and took a nice hot shower getting into bed almost immediately after. Today was heavy, tiring, and very much draining.

When I woke up, at almost 11am, Calum was also in my bed snuggled under the covers. His hair was messy, and he looked as cute as ever. Usually I would t do this, but I shook Calum awake. "Cal, babe." Calum opened his eyes slowly, resting his hand on his head. "Hm?" I wedged myself down and scooted closer to him. "Where were you? I missed you." Calum rolled to his side, leaned over, and kissed my forehead. "I went to wrap up some loose ends."

Well that was very vague. I wonder what he meant by loose ends. "Everything's okay?" Calum nodded his head up and down. "Gimme another kiss." I stuck my lips out for Calum to plant his lips on. It took us a while, but we eventually got up. Mali texted me to come over, so I went and got dressed for the day. "Cal honey I'm going to hang out with Mali today, wanna join?"

Calum shook his head no, "I can't sadly, I've got to meet up with Ashton today." I smiled and handed him his phone that was now fully charged. "No worries, tell him I said hey." We both made our way downstairs. I grabbed a yogurt cup from the fridge for breakfast, while Calum skipped out. A message popped up on my screen from Luke. Did Calum make it back okay? Mali must've asked him if he had seen Calum. Yeah, he's fine :) I sent back. Luke gave my response a thumbs up. It's really great having Luke as a friend.

It was time for me to make my way to Mali. It didn't take to long for me to reach the porch. A strong scent of chocolate chip cookies hit my nose. Mali stood at the counter with a hot pan below her. "Hey! Smells delicious!" She turned over really quick with a huge grin on her face. "Hey! So my girlfriend's birthday is coming up, and I really wanna throw her a party or something fun. I really need your help planning for it."

Mali grabbed a spatula and scooped them onto a cooling rack. "Yeah, that's awesome, no worries." She had been with her girlfriend for a while now, and I was so happy they had such a strong connection. What they have is so beautiful. We talked about color schemes, themes, and who to invite for a few hours. We thought about asking Luke if we could have a party at his, but his parties weren't like fun themed birthday parties, his were more crazy and reckless.

We took a break, the rest could be worked at tomorrow. Mali wanted everything to be perfect. She loves parties and she loves her girlfriend, so everything had to be just right. "Did you hear from Calum?" Mali asked while scrolling on her phone. I vigorously nodded my head, "Yeah, he came home sometime last night."

"Good, good." Mali was rapidly texting at this point, and was too distracted to fully respond. "I think I'm gonna take a nap." Mali had an awkward tone to her voice, but she got up and went upstairs. I further relaxed on the house, and watched Harry Potter as I grew sleepy again.

Gently closing my eyes, I fell asleep for about two hours. I shut the television off and made my way upstairs to Calum's room. After plopping down on the bed and breathing in his scent, I instantly missed Calum. I don't know what it was, but it made me so emotional. I hated not being with Calum.

I heard the front door slam shut, and footsteps made their way up the steps. Calum's door opened up, and luckily for me, Calum came through. "Cal." I got up and went to him as fast as I could. I hugged him so tight, and I could tell he wasn't expecting that. "Babe, what's up?" Calum chuckled before hugging me back. "I just missed you..."

Calum and I went out to eat that night. Mali went to her girlfriends, so we had the house to ourselves. "Babe do you want to go somewhere special?" I held Calum's hand in mine as we walked away from the pizza place we frequent. "A special place? What makes it special?" Calum wrapped his arm around my body. "You'll see."

I guided Calum towards this massive botanical park we sometimes go to on dates. This place is one of my favorites. It's a giant public park that steers off from a main road. It's very luscious. Flowers, vines, succulents, exotic looking plants, wildlife, tall trees, and really beautiful coves. I was planning to take Calum to my favorite cove, so we could watch the sunset together. That is something I don't think we've done yet.

We walked our way up the path to the entrance to the park "You took me to the park?" I laughed because Calum must not have known about my hidden gem. "Mmm I'm not going to answer that Cal." I didn't answer Calum's question. I dragged him with me, because he didn't know this side of the park. "We've been walking through this park forever, can you at least tell me where we're going?" I shook Calum's arm.

"Shhht Cal I can't tell you, we're almost there." I pulled Calum to one of the many coves located in this park, perfectly places by small hills and exotic looking plants. It was a beautiful sight to see. "Sit." I lowered myself down in the grass, and Calum did the same. "Okay I get it now, I can see why you took me here." Calum clipped himself to my arm, and I rested my head on his shoulder. "Calum I love you so much." He lifted his head up and faced me towards him "I love you more...Hazel you don't understand." Calum trailed off.

I moved Calum's hands into mine and caressed them. "I don't underst-" Calum was quick to answer. "You don't understand how much I love you, and how much I want to share my life with you. I know I don't express it enough, and I want to work on that." I shook my head. "Calum, I love you more than anything okay, and I know what it feels like to be loved by you. I have you, and you have me..." I trailed off.

Calm and I stayed in the cove and watched the sunset until it went completely down. We took our time and made our way back to his. We spent our night together, as we usually do. I heard a ding come from Calum's phone, and he sat up. After groaning and getting up, Calum proceeded to tell me he had to go see Ashton. That's weird, he already seen him today... "I will see you in a bit, sounds important." He kissed my head and made his way out.
